Story
Maya is part of a bonded pair. You can read about her bestie Maggie here https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/41958360-tucson-arizona-cat Maya is a sweet Bassett Hound x Chihuahua mix. She just turned 3. A lot of people think she looks like a Dachshund when they meet her because of her long body and short legs. But she is sightly bigger than a Dachshund and weighs a lean 28 pounds. She loves belly rubs, plush toys, belly rubs, fuzzy blankets and belly rubs. She is like a big sister to Maggie (grey tabby cat). She plays with her gently and puts up with all of her shenanigans. Unknown if she would get along with other cats and dogs. She is usually quiet, but alerts when people are at the door. She is leash-trained (with harness), spayed and microchipped.

Story
My name is Lucy. I am a mixed breed, white coat, pink belly with lots of spots (sometimes my owner thinks I am a cow). I am about 4-5 years old. I am extremely high energy and love to play. I sometimes struggle with loose stools and have tried raw food diets, human foods (Chicken, turkey, rice, sweet potato etc.), kibble, and nothing seems to really fix it completely, although this doesn't happen all the time and I am potty trained so I will tell you when I need to go potty. I am not the best with kids under 2 years old (which is part of the reason I am not fitting well in my current home). I was rescued from PACC and my owners have tried their best with me but sometimes I am just too rough with young children, I do not bite but I am not quite aware of my size and surroundings. I do have a head tremor and balance issues at times which doctors have never been able to identify the cause of. Other than some minute issues, I am a perfect doggy for a home with a nice sized yard.

Story
Maggie followed my son into his yard as he was coming home from work. We worked diligently to find an owner and were unsuccessful. She is so very sweet and affectionate and loves to cuddle. She has the softest brown eyes that just say: Love me please, like I love you! She seems young, has lots of energy and gets along well with my sons dog thats a Pitbull. My son works two jobs just to make ends meet so is gone most of the time. He cannot afford to care for another dog plus he has a very small yard. She deserves someone who can take her for walks or has a big yard and and can give her the attention she craves. He has taught her to sit for treats and fetch her toy. She is sweetness in the flesh.

Story
Sage has been with me since she was 5 weeks. She loves attention and being outside. She has a terrible leash problem where she absolutely will get off of the leash and take off if she can, but loves to play outside or at the dog park. The girls will bully other doggos a little bit & sometimes get into smalls spats but nothing unmanageable. (I usually sprits them with water a lil bit) she’s a very hungry girl and loves sweets. I don’t have time anymore to do almost anything with them. I got them when my life was less busy and I had a lot of time (Covid times). Since then I opened a business, began starting a family and need to downsize due to to economy and stuff.. :( Ideally needs to go with her sister Luna who has been with me less time but adores her people!! Luna hates cats and other small animals as well as people. She prefers women & she can be outside no issues. She is a sweet girl. Listens really good 🖤🖤

Story
Poppy is a high energy, funny, spunky, loving girl! She loves to give kisses and loves her treats! She is chipped, spayed and house/crate trained. She does not have experience with children or cats, so I don't know how she'd do with either. She and her sister Charlotte are bonded and I'd love for them to be adopted together. Otherwise, she will likely need to be the only dog. I adopted Poppy and Charlotte together from a local rescue in July of 2020. I have a senior dog and they all lived happy together for the first few years. One day my senior dog and Poppy got into a scuff and have not been able to rebuild their bond. I have tried trainers and that did not work. So, in the end, I believe what is best Poppy, is to find a new, loving home.

Story
Charlotte is a super loyal, loving, snuggly girl. She is chipped, spayed, and house/crate trained. She takes a bit to warm up, but once she does, she'll love you for life! She is very much a velcro dog. She has a voice and is not afraid to use it. She does not have experience with children or cats, so I do not know how she'd do with either. She loves her sister Poppy, with whom she is super bonded. I'd love for them to go to a home together but I realize that is a big ask. Backstory: I adopted her and her sister Poppy, together, in July of 2020. I have a senior dog and they all got along great for the first few years. Until they didn't. So, with a heavy heart, I believe it's best to find her a new, loving home.
