Story
Carmen and Diego are still waiting for their forever home, or a loving foster to get them out of boarding and into a house! They're about 2 years old, bonded pair, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. They're high energy, but extremely food motivated, and have done well with the training I've been able to give them so far. The pair are always happy and smiling, and deserve much more than they've had so far! Seemingly abandoned in the desert, they were found by a good samaritan, who took them in and sought help after a lengthy search for their original home. I have been paying for their private boarding for almost a year now and am OUT OF MONEY (about $15k in expenses so far), so I'm desperately at least seeking a foster or rescue to take them from me.

Story
I adopted Ford 5 years ago in Boston, and the two of us came out to California several years ago. He is a very sweet boy, not too energetic, really enjoys going on walks where he can sniff and pee on bushes, otherwise he's happy to lay on the couch. He is a little slow to warm up when it comes to people and other dogs, and he does get nervous around strangers if they're around the house, but once he gets to know them he can be so sweet and gentle (as you can see in the picture including his housemate Stormy). Unfortunately my life has gotten busy with my work and other personal responsibilities, and it's not fair to the people I live with to expect them to provide 95-100% of the necessary care. If I had it my way, his new home would simply have people who are willing to care for him, take him on walks and show him love and affection, and have a nice calm home for him to relax in and enjoy.

Story
miniature schnauzer who deserves a loving and patient forever home. He was surrendered after his owner sadly passed away. I adopted him with the hope of giving him a new life, but unfortunately, he hasn’t adjusted well with my current dog. Doc is an incredibly cuddly companion with unique, cat-like behaviors, such as rubbing up against his owner for affection. He is fully house-trained and thrives on love and attention. However, Doc would do best in a home where he is the only dog so he can truly shine as your loyal sidekick. Due to some anxiety, Doc can be particular about how he’s touched, so he needs an owner who is patient, understanding, and willing to work with him on training. He has so much love to give and just needs the right person to help him feel secure and cherished. If you’re looking for a snuggly, devoted companion and are ready to offer Doc the time and care he needs, please reach out. Let’s find this sweet boy the happy ending he deserves!

Story
Cookie's adoption fell through during the fires in Malibu this past weekend. She was put at a k*ll shelter and was hours away from being put down due to "lack of room." Cookie was rescued, was at a trainer's house for 2 weeks, and is now living with me and my roommate in North Hollywood. She is the sweetest pup and deserves an amazing home. She is loving, gentle, and a happy dog.

Story
Melvin is the sweetest boy there ever has been. He absolutely loves cuddling. He’s a big fan of every dog he’s ever met and loves people (although he can be a little shy and uncertain of large men at first but he’s never not opened up to someone) He’s 6 or 7 years old. Well trained. Sit , lay, come, stay(this one can use some work but he’ll stay a little bit) he eats well. He is crate trained and able to be crated or trusted in the house. I hate to let him go but it’s best for him to be somewhere with people who have more time available for him.

Story
Meet my lovely dog. I haven’t named him yet. I adopted him from his owner when he was only 4 weeks old. He is now 3 months old and very very lovable. He has grown very attached to me, his human friend, and he will be the same to you as well. He is peaceful, happy and loyal. He will follow you around, attentively looking up at you, learning everything you teach him. He is always ready to play. He loves his toys, so you have to allow him to play with different types of toys. He sleeps a lot too, so you should encourage him to sleep. He is learning to walk on a leash and harness. He doesn’t like the leash much, but he can happily walk with it – so long as you use a retractable one. I just started taking him out doors. He gets a little anxious, until you allow him to run and play games with you. He definitely loves to be outdoors, but is equally happy to be indoors as well. The only reason why I have to let him go is because I live in a no-pet policy apartment.
