Story
"Piper" appeared in a Craigslist ad. We fell in love with her at first glance. She is 6 years old. She has a beautiful brindle coat with a white blaze. She is compact and sturdy. Her facial expression appears as if she will talk. She is the most intelligent dog we have ever owned. She grooms herself like a cat and lacks "doggy odor" She thinks she is a lap dog. She loves car rides and chewing ice cubes. She is not a frivolous barker. She barks only to alert you of an approaching or nearby stranger. She barks if she detects fear or "shady behavior". Great watchdog. She has a hematoma on her ear, which is a result of her scratching it. My wife and I are bankrupt and forced to move from our home. The idea of rehoming Piper has me heartbroken and losing sleep. I told my wife if we had to drop her off at the pound I could not be with her to do so. The process has me too emotional.

Story
Ruby is a 2 year old who who we’ve been fostering for the past 2 months. She loves to wake up with kisses, belly rubs and a game of tug of war with one of her her favorite toys, are you ready to play? She’s not shy about telling you what she wants and loves to burn off her high energy by running around a fenced yard or being chased when she has a ball in her mouth. She is house trained, well behaved in a vehicle, is great on the leash and loves to go on long walks. Never known to turn down a treat we used this to teach her the basic commands. With strong consistent guidance in a pet and kid free environment she’ll truly shine in her forever home.

Story
Boone was rescued from a hoarder home. He is around 2-3 years old. He was caged a lot in his previous home and left without food or water. Thus he isn't comfortable with being crated or penned. He also has a tendency to resource guard. He will snatch stray paper or plastics to eat, and he has chewed holes in blankets and clothes. He gets along very well with other dogs, but does not easily trust people. He does have a history of bites and will need someone experienced and firm to guide him because he is very insecure. He loves being outside, and I think he would benefit from having a job to do. He is eager to please because he has not had a solid foundation for very long, so he learns and listens well. He is extremely sweet and affectionate with the people that he bonds with. He will always want to be in your lap or share your bed, but he will listen when you tell him to get down. The best environment for him would be a farm or homestead with other dogs that can help guide him.

Story
Hi guys, this is Junior! I got him my last year of college, when I saw a customer walk in with his sibling while working at my part-time job. We have been inseparable ever since. He was only 2 months and only $50! I would say the best $50 I ever spent but vet costs as a puppy owner is no joke! He loves to accompany me on road trips, he loves the beach, and playing with his friends. He is vocal and will bark at other dogs but give them time to get acquainted and they're best buds. He grew up with my nephew and is good with kids. Unfortunately, my lease was up and the place we were moving to was with a friend. She gave up the room to other friend with kids, so I am scrambling to find housing. With Junior's breed, it's even more of a struggle. I have found a temporary place and my family offered to take care of him until I find a solid place again. When I checked on him I found that the kids tired cutting his nails and I honestly don't want him enduring any more unfortunate events.
