Story
This is Remi, a 3 year old rescue mix, snuggly, loving, and loyal. We are looking for a new home starting as soon as possible, someone ideally with training or dog handling experience who can help work with him on some anxious behaviors. Remi has anxiety towards animals and people outside of our house, so a household without kids and other pets would be ideal. He currently lives with an alpha dog brother and 2 cats, but a slow, strategic introduction would certainly be necessary. He will also need a fenced in yard since he loves to go after animals (squirrels, other dogs, etc) but will eventually listen upon being called back (not super headstrong). He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down. He waits for his food when placed in front of him. The one thing we cannot seem to get under control is his territorial urge to take off after anything in the yard and to nip/bite new people that come to the house (not aggressively, but more playfully). Reach out if you're a good fit.
