Story
We adopted Maisy about 10 years ago from owners who had found her as a puppy lost out in the woods. She is a great dog. She is very good with people. She will bark if anyone knocks on the door. Very protective but not aggressive. She is good with kids but she prefers to be around adults. She does not go out of her way to greet other dogs but is fine with them. Maisy is 12 years old now. She still loves to go for walks and hang out with her owners. She is an inside dog at heart and can lay around all day. The one drawback to her age is that she started going to the bathroom on the carpet during the night or if we are not around to let her out. When we are present she knows to make it clear that she has to go outside. I don't think she would take kindly to being in a kennel based on past experiences when she was younger. She is used to being boarded and her caretakers always call her the sweetest dog they have. She would be perfect as a companion to someone who is home during the day.
