Jasmine was left at the entrance of the rescue in Texas. Estimated to be 5-6 months old, about 37 lbs. We don't know what her mixed breed is but we know she is beautiful. Texas foster mom said she is very sweet. loves her toys, and loves to lay by your side. She is Very Playful, affectionate, and funny. She loves to be petted. Trained to use pee-pad and go out. Good with all-size dogs and cats. Now that she is in NJ and her foster family agrees with all that was said about her. She is a true companion dog. Lots of fun, happy, easy to train and affectionate. She loves all people, kids and dogs, and is good with cats. She is a little goofy with her floppy ears and she provides lots of entertainment. Her favorite toy is any stick she finds, which she will happily throw around for herself. She is housebroken and sleeps wonderfully in her crate. This post is for little Bon-Jove, who is part of our rock family :) We are not sure about the breed. It started with a phone call from a lady feeding the puppies, asking for the rescue's help with food. Checking on the pups gave us the chill. They were all dehydrated and just bones and skin. Puppies were born on April 8th, ten weeks old, and weighed between 2 and 4 lbs. Momma was the same, maybe 20 lbs, and very dehydrated. We decided they all needed to leave this place. No food or water, living outside in the unbearable heat. We managed to have the owner surrender them to us. It's been almost two weeks. The puppies are a happy gang. Loving toys, chasing each other, and doing what puppies should do. They are slowly gaining weight, as is their mother. She is a beautiful and happy girl, enjoying every opportunity to be pet and loved. We like the family to go home. To have adopters who will care for them for the rest of their life Bon Jovi's weight in August is 28.6lb Next transport, he will be ready to leave TX and come home in NJ if adopted. This post is for little Leonard Skynard, who is part of our rock family :) We are not sure about the breed. The other 4 puppies and momma have their own post. He lost weight and was very sick. Now he eating nicely and gaining healthy weight. She loves being out in the world, so much so that she will bark into the air to say "hello world!" as she is walking down the sidewalk. She loves meeting everyone, including people, kids, dogs, cats, and will even walk up to pigeons to find out what they are eating. She has a hop in her step when we are heading out for walks, but will slow down tremendously when it looks like we are headed in the direction of home, and will sometimes stall by making friends with people at outdoor cafés. She is a whole different dog from when we first took her in, and is so very happy all the time. She takes daily medicine for her Cushing's and monthly arthritis medication, so she is thriving. Mama is still not very interested in toys or wrestling with her foster sister, but she is a pro at unstuffing a stuffy. She might be deaf, or very, very hard of hearing, but that makes life in a chaotic city pretty easy. She knows basic commands given to her visually, and always waits patiently for food and treats, even if others are getting them first.

Currently we are working on curbing her excitement while meeting other dogs on her walk and she is showing quite a promise towards it, and we have no doubt that she would master the proper leash manners in no time with dedicated training.

Please may I sit in your lap? That is my absolute favorite!! I'm a medium-energy girl who loves a good session of zoomies and tug, and also enjoys snoozing. I have a whole lot of ears, cuddles, kisses, and love to go around. I like to play with toys in the afternoon (my bagel stuffie and Nylabone are my current favorites) and my puzzle bowl at meal time — yep, I'm a curious pup! My foster mom tells me I'm very smart — I figure out new puzzle toys in no time. I know "sit," "stay," "down," "paw" and "spin"! Now I'm learning "leave it," "come," and "through the legs" for a fun one! I also know "place" to go in my crate, and that I need to sit quietly in my crate while my meals are being prepared. I get so excited about food! Food is the best! I can be a bit cautious outside at first, since there's so much to take in on my neighborhood walks. But I've been making great progress on my dislike for bicycles, scooters, and skateboards. My foster mom says she's proud of me because I don't react to bicycles anymore! And as long as they don't have those, I love meeting new people on walks!! I sleep through the night like a champ, and I don't usually mind being left alone. Sometimes I cry or bark for the first few minutes, but if you give me a Kong with some peanut butter or treats, I am happy to be distracted. I would love to find a comfy and calm forever home where I can keep working on my training and giving ALL of the cuddles!!
