Story
We found Rika on the county road that we live on. She is a very energetic, athletic, and free-spirited dog. She loves to run around, play with dogs/people, and lick. She would do best in a home with a lot of attention, room to run around outside (fenced), and another dog(s). It is possible that she was previously neglected/abused, as she is skittish with new people, more so men. Past that, she is extremely affectionate, sweet, and playful. While she knows how to sit, is potty-trained, and knows her name/comes when called, Rika would do well with training. She has a strong prey drive, which causes her to have trouble listening. This is our main reason for rehoming, as the property we live on is not fenced, along with the fact that we have many cats who she doesn’t get along well with. She isn’t aggressive at all, just messes with them. Rika is an amazing and loving dog, just not compatible with our cats. She is a great companion. We can meet anywhere around Sulphur Springs or DFW.
