Story
Hey guys, it's me again, Finley! I introduced myself a few months ago when I came to Zoe's House Rescue underweight and asking for donations of special food and comfy beds. I'm a 6 year old male Newfoundland. Now that I've put on some weight, it's time to find my furever home. My foster family tells me I'm a really good boy. They would love to keep me, but you see, they have two little dogs I really want to play with and one that is a tad scared of me. I mean no harm, they just look like fun. My Berner foster sister is older than me, and she doesn't like playing either, so I'm stuck entertaining myself. I think I'd like a friend of medium size or larger, or just an active family that wants to take me on all their adventures, walks, and hikes. I have a few "old man" qualities for a bigger dog, like joint supplements, I need those. My allergies are pretty bad also, so I'll require some form of treatment for that (currently on cytopoint injections). Lastly, since I was really underweight and have now packed on about 30+ lbs, my belly gets upset easily. I'm eating a special diet, this might be for the next few weeks or life- we can't tell for sure. Aside from my medical thingys, I'm a super happy, well-behaved guy. I walk well on a leash, I potty outside, I play nice with others, I love kids, and I really just want to be loved and pet A LOT. Finley is neutered and had entropion surgery on both eyes that healed great. He's up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and is ready to find his people.
