Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
My family originally saved Ammo from being euthanized at a pound he was dropped off at after his original owners gave him up due to him being bigger than they anticipated. He has lived with us for the past 6 years and is great with kids. My son was a baby when we first got him and Ammo loved laying with him and playing with him outside as he got older. Ammo loves short walks and loves to be loved on; He will be your best couch mate! Ammo does not do well with cats. He has some dog aggression so it would be best if he was in an only pet household but is incredibly sweet and all of his great features will flourish in the right home. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions!

Story
Meet Shadow King! Shadow is about 2 months old and a newfie mix puppy. He is the cuddliest fluffball that loves to follow his humans around! He gets along really well with his foster family that includes 3 human littles (2-10 years of age) and a golden retriever sister. Once he’s done playing, he loves to snuggle in your lap. Currently working on potty training, crate training and walking on a leash. Remember puppies require a lot of attention and patience but Shadow is very smart! He loves to please his humans! He is a large breed and expected to be over 60 plus pounds. To meet Shadow, please fill out an application!   Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application . Adoption donation of $350 includes spay/neuter, microchip, 2-3 dewormings, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Story
Moxie is a 13 month old cattle dog/ Pyrenees mix around 45lbs. I call her my lover girl. She LOVES love. Loves to catch a ball and go for walks. But really this dog just LOVES to be loved on and give you love in return. This decision is heartbreaking to me because I don’t believe in rehoming dogs. However, Moxie has started to attack my senior Australian shepherd and after serveral trainer evaluations I’ve been told it’s in the best interest of all dogs in the home for Moxie to find a new home where she can be either the only dog with a bunch of kids to love on her, or in a home with a larger male dog(as she has not displayed these aggressive tendencies toward my male dogs). I am unsure if she is good with small children but has been around and loves kids over the age of 5. She is kennel trained and house trained. She is very submissive to men, although I think she could warm up to them (she is around my partner quite a bit). Will come with bed, food, toys, and nxt yr’s vaccs

Story
Bernie has been with us since he was rescued as a small puppy roughly two years ago. He loves to play with our other small terrier mix, and he does very well on walks and when we take him to the dog park. We have three kids in our home, and he has done well around them and other people. He does require a strong owner who knows how to handle large dogs, and he will need to be reinforced to be gentle when he is fed sometimes. We must let Bernie go because I have generalized anxiety, and his demeanor is not conducive to my condition. I also work from home, and Bernie barks any time the door is rung or he senses someone approaching. He is very stubborn, and getting him to calm down can be challenging. Bernie loves to be with or near his family. He LOVES to get on the couch and in bed with us. This can be challenging with his size His best home would be somewhere that he can bark and play more outside, and where his owner can handle or appreciate his alertness.

Adopt Pascal! Pascal is a very silly and high energy puff. He loves toys and playing with his dog friends. He can be a little nervous in public and would prefer not to be by strangers in public, but does fine with them in the home.
