Hi, I'm Cooper! I am a medium-energy senior boi that looks like a Bronze Newfoundland / Border Collie mix. I can't remember how old I am . . . 7 or 8, maybe? I LOVE cuddles and snuggles, and I like to give tiny licks to let you know I love you. I'm perfectly happy to just lay around most of the day, and don't need constant attention. I'm very curious about my surroundings (what's that yummy SMELL?!?) and like to go for 2 walks per day. I'd be very happy to have a yard to play in so I can spend time outside. I don't bark much at all, I'm not interested in chewing things, I won't pee in the house (I have to save it to mark my territory!), and I'm happy to lay down and relax while my foster parents eat (not a beggar). I don't feel very comfortable when people try to hold me down for shots and brushing, yet. I'm going to need some special care for vet visits and grooming. So far, my foster parents have been very impressed with my ability to learn new tricks (I am an old dog, after all)! I started to understand "leave it" and "look at me" after just a few short minutes, can "sit", I "come" (when I'm not focused on a new smell outside), and I'm excited to "shake" paws, too! Please consider adopting me if you want a loyal, protective companion.
