CHILLED-OUT LAP CAT WHO LIKES TO NAP AND CUDDLE DOB 4/1/20 Hey there, everyone! I’m Lucy, a sweet, cuddly, easygoing calico/ tortoiseshell with white gal with a big fluff of a tail. My thick, luxurious fur is soft and plush like a bunny's. I love to climb up in Foster Meowmy’s lap for her to scratch my cheeks, chin, and ears. Sometimes I nap, and sometimes we binge on Netflix or Animal Planet. I’m a real sucker for canned food and yummy treats. Here’s my rescue story: While passing a dilapidated apartment complex, a Good Samaritan discovered an injured male cat whose leg was in bad shape. She took him to the vet, where his leg was amputated and he was neutered. When she returned to the apartment complex to release him, she discovered a friendly pregnant calico. You guessed it – yours truly. She put two and two together and figured out that the male’s injuries hadn’t stopped him from being a lothario. My future foster Meowmy scooped up me and brought me home, and Leon, Sunny, Mia, and Leah were born in foster care. Now I’m ready for my forever home, so please arrange to meet me. TURBO CHARGES WHEN PLAYING WITH THE LASER  DOB 4/18/14 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mufasa, a big, handsome lynx-point Ragdoll mix fella with blue eyes and a long, bushy tail. I’m an even-tempered gentle giant who likes to “roly-poly,” which means that I lie on my back and roll back and forth from side to side. Sometimes I even let my hooman rub my belly when I’m doing my “roly-poly” thing. I have large, round, feather-tufted paws and am a perfect gent about keeping my claws retracted. When I get to playing too rough, I understand when my hooman says “ouch” and cool it. While I’m not a lap kitty per se, I love to be brushed and will sit beside my hooman to get brushed. Despite my giant size, I turbo-charge when I chase the laser light. When I’m alone, I may bellow out a loud yowl but stop when my hooman comes running to see what the matter is. Hey, I just want a little company and to know that I'm loved! I like to lounge on the tallest spot on the cat tree, the bed, or a soft cushioned chair. I’m fascinated with playing with the water in my bowl, and I’m very food-motivated. Only problem is that I’m afraid that the other cats will eat my food, so I gobble it too quickly, and sure enough, up it comes. I need a new home because my hooman mom, my bestie, recently died. She spent a lot of time with me, and I miss our one-on-one bonding sessions. I do get along with the now-combined mix of her daughter’s multiple cats and my deceased mom’s three other cats. However, I’d surely get a lot more of the hooman attention that I deserve if I were in a home with fewer pets to compete with my family’s attention. My only health issue is that I need prescription urinary food as preventative maintenance for urinary crystals. I hope that you’ll arrange to meet me. True confessions, I’ll probably be initially a little skittish with you as a stranger, but your patience is sure to win my heart once I feel like I can trust you.
