Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Rico💝 Rico gave birth to puppies under a wall In January 2021, and was brought to the Gimje Shelter. Rico and her puppies were eventually rescued by Adogs. All of her puppies went to the foster or adopter homes, but Rico used to attack her own hind leg and couldn’t stay in the foster home for long. A long period has passed since she returned to the Adogs Center. She is currently staying at a new foster home. * Towards People: Initially is wary of people but gets used to them with time. You can get close to her even faster with treats! Loves being hugged by people she likes and makes eye contact, showing affection with head bumps. *Towards Dogs: Is not the type to approach first. Wags her tail at friends she’s familiar with, but doesn’t approach first or get excited. Gets along with the other dogs, and doesn’t get jealous or compete with other dogs for affection. * Toward Cats: Does not care about cats. * Separation Anxiety: Has a habit of biting her own hind leg when she is alone for over four hours. She stops if you call her name. * Potty Training: Can potty both indoors and outdoors. Doesn’t mark at home. Wags her tail if she potties outside because she prefers it. * Hygiene: Is good with being brushed. Sometimes, she dislikes being brushed on her legs. * Walks: Doesn’t like walks yet, so volunteers are letting her go on walks in the direction she wants to go to. If you let go of the leash and walk forward, she comes closer a bit and then sits down. * Carsickness: None. However, she gets nervous if she can’t see her caretaker. 💌Other Features💌 * Can follow the command of "Sit,” “wait,” and “eat.” * Gets along with people, dogs, and cats. Feels more calm when she’s with other calm dogs rather than being alone. Would be good as a second dog in a family. * Is quite fearful but adjusts quickly if she feels like she’s in a safe place. * She has a tendency to bite her own hind leg, but hasn’t shown any signs of this behavior during the few days she’s been at her foster home. ❗Health Condition❗ * Spaying: Done. * Microchipped, heartworm negative upon retesting

Story
Hellooooo. PASHMAK here. Here's ust a bit of info below about me:Breed: Cairn Terrier/Spitz mixAge: 10 monthsGender: FemaleWeight: 9 kgHeight: tbdCountry of Origin: Middle EastHighlights: eager to please, learn & train, faithful, cuddly, mellow, funny, playful, intelligent Tell me you are after a cuddly, yet funny girl who will bring you daily laughs. Yup, me.My life before wasn't good. The human I lived with, well, they weren't really there, you know? They smelled funny and didn't always remember to feed me or give me water. Sometimes, they'd get angry for no reason, and I'd hide, tucking my tail tight. I learned to flinch whenever a hand came near. That gives you an idea of what I endured. I remember mostly the pain. My leg... it hurt so bad. I don't know what happened, just a lot of shouting and then... blinding pain. They didn't take me to anyone, didn't try to make it better. I just laid there, day after day, the pain throbbing, making me tremble. They'd sometimes kick me if I got in the way, even with my broken leg. I was always hungry, and scared. Then, a kind lady came. I was so afraid, I tried to hide, but she had gentle eyes and a soft voice. She looked sad when she saw me, huddled in the corner. She spoke to them, those mean humans. I don't know what she said, but she gave them something, and then... then she picked me up!The nice lady took me to a place that smelled funny, but felt… safe-ish. A doctor looked at my leg and I cried, it hurt so much when they touched it. But they were trying to help. I had to stay there for a while, but the nice lady visited. And now my leg is feeling much better. Now, I'm in a foster home, and it's safe and warm. My foster mom says I'm very sweet. I'm learning to trust people again. I'm ready to find my forever home. My heart is full of love, and I’m just waiting for a forever family who will love me back.I'm still a little shy, but I promise to give you all my love. You'll find me to be both calm and playful rolled into one pup. I'm intelligent and eager to learn and please, so training should come easy. I'm a loyal girl who just wants to relax near you... okay well maybe on your lap, once we are bonded in trust. And though I hold some shyness yet, I can be rather confident. Being friendly, I should be fine with dog savvy kids.I dream of a family who will be patient and gentle, who will cuddle with me and keep me safe. Fully healed.I have been spayed, vaccinated & micro-chipped.My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, to a max of $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2313078##
