Story
Riptide is a young male retriever mix with a sense of adventure! He is good on the leash, and is curious but respectful of all the animals at the Funny Farm. Riptide is a medium size, at 34 lbs, but will surely get a bit bigger. This boy loves to romp and roll with doggo friends and would do best with an active family who will go and do with him! With a warm tan/brown coat and a sweet set of brown eyes, Riptide is sure to pull you away from the other dogs and make you his new family! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: " Riptide is an energetic, happy-go-lucky pup.  He thoroughly enjoyed his hike and kept up a good pace.  He got along well with the other dogs and was particularly interested in the lady dogs, always checking to make sure they were doing okay as they went along on the hike" **Volunteer Dog Walk feedback: " I was shocked to learn he was only 7 months old because he responded to commands and redirection like a more mature dog.  He looked up at me to check in often, and really responded well to being called "good boy" - I think he's heard that before"!
