Story
Grady is a sweet and active boy! He enjoys long walks, is excellent at retrieving, and does well off leash- always returning when called. He especially loves other dogs, car rides, swimming, and being outside with his people. Grady loves people. He is always eager to greet neighbors, the mailman, and new friends. Grady is being rehomed because he has nipped at his families children. The "bites" have always been minor- never drawing blood, but the children are now afraid of Grady. The incidents only happened at night- when he was tired and startled. Never in the morning or day time when happy and wagging his tail. The ideal placement would be with active adults who enjoy the outdoors, want a companion for their adventures, and can commit to having him sleep in his crate at night. Because of his history with the children, we believe he would do best in a home without young children! I would love to send more videos and details about the situation to anyone interested!

Story
Meet Oreo!! This handsome fella is about a year and a half old. We believe he is a Shepherd/Retriever mix of some kind. He currently weighs 55 pounds and is done growing. If anything, he will get a bit stockier. Oreo is a very intelligent, active boy!! He loves to be on the go and getting all the exercise he can! He would make a great running, hiking or biking partner!! Once Oreo has gotten his stimulation for the day and run out his energy, he loves to lounge around and hang out. Oreo has a doggy playmate at our shelter who he enjoys spending time with! He would enjoy having another high energy dog in his future home to play with!! We have no idea what he thinks about cats. Oreo is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $85. Story
Meet Flo!! This beautiful girl is about 2 years old. We believe she is a Shepherd/Border Collie mix. She currently weighs about 50 pounds. Flo is an athlete, she will need a home that can provide her with lots of daily exercise and stimulation. She is a dominant female so she would do best in a home with no other dogs or maybe a male dog with her same energy level. For being incredibly intelligent and needing activities to keep her mind sharp, she’s also a really chill dog that has no problem lounging around on the couch and enjoying some cuddles. She’s a perfect balance and we have no doubts that’s she’ll make someone an amazing companion. Flo is capable of climbing fences. So she would do best in a home with a wooden fence or with people who are able to spend a lot of time outside with her. Flo is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85. If you are interested in adopting Flo, please fill out an adoption application below: https://hspets.org/adoption-application/
