Story
Hi everyone. My name is Blake and I am looking for my first and last forever home. I arrived to Canada on May 27th, all ready for my new home. Here is my info: Breed: mixed -possibly Papillon/Minature Border Collie) Age: 1.5 years approximately Gender: M Weight: 7kg (15 pounds) Height: (ground to shoulder) 30cm (12 inches) RESCUE STORY: I was left outside of the terrible shelter in Wuhan, China, in a cardboard box when I was about two months old. The terrible shelter wouldn’t take me because I was a young puppy and still needed to be fed. A really nice lady volunteer took me to her home, raised me and when I grew older, she took me to her shelter. For some reason, dogs bigger than me at the shelter tend to bite me. My lady rescuer took me to her home from time to time, just to give me a break from the shelter. I have been at her shelter for a little over a year now. I am shy initially with strangers, but once I get to know you, I will be your shadow, following you everywhere and loving you with all my heart. I so long to have my own family and leave the shelter and China behind me forever. It's best if I am the only dog in home.  TEMPERAMENT INFO: shy initially, loving, clingy to his person, playful, quiet Energy Level: moderate I get along with: Dogs: While I am fine with dogs outside the home, because I have been attacked several times at the shelter by bigger dogs, I am not comfortable living with other dogs.  Cats: yes Kids: yes (good with rescuer’s little girl) Fears: none observed. Training: Leash skills: some House trained: yes Health notes: healthy I am neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850. ##2059727##

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Miyoung Rescue Story * Miyoung was found with a tight collar around her neck, emaciated and injured. She was rescued urgently due to concerns about the poor conditions at the shelter and potential infections. Before coming to the shelter, she had a difficult past, and she was initially fearful of people. However, thanks to her foster parent’s care, she gradually opened up and was eventually adopted. Unfortunately, she got lost again during a walk after adoption and was returned to ADOGS during the search process. * Interaction with Humans: Miyoung tends to avoid people initially, but once she becomes comfortable, she occasionally makes eye contact and stays close. Patience is needed for her to open up. She is scared of strangers, but does allow petting. * Interaction with Other Dogs: She gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t have any issues. However, she prefers to rest alone rather than play. * Separation Anxiety: Not present, but she doesn’t eat or drink when no one is around. * House Training: She prefers outdoor potty but can use indoor pads if necessary. * Hygiene: Despite being fearful, she’s never bitten and tolerates toothbrushing, baths, and hair drying. * Walks: Has high excitement levels initially, but calms down after 10 minutes. Must use a collar as well as a harness as it hasn’t been long since she’s been re-rescued after getting lost. * Car Sickness: Not prone to car sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 * Miyoung is very cautious and fearful, so a calm environment is essential for her well-being. Other: Microchipped, recovered from heartworm. * During the period when she was lost, her skin was affected by ticks, so she is currently receiving regular medication. * She was infected with Anaplasma during her time lost and is still taking medication for it. * Miyoung has a weak knee joint (patellar luxation), so activities like jumping or going up and down stairs should be avoided. * Due to dental issues, she primarily eats soft food.
