A TINY LITTLE SWEETHEART: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 6 lbs. & needs to gain a little weight Hi, my name is Kenzo! I found myself at animal control, but fortunately Mostly Mutts was able to rescue me, and I am grateful! I’m in a wonderful foster home now while I wait to meet my new family, and I hear that it’s time to meet them now which makes me happy. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I share a bed with the dog in my foster home. We get along well and are a bit indifferent to each other. So, if you have a nice doggie at home that sounds like a match for me, let’s meet! I do guard my food though, so make sure we will be fed separately. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, but I think older kids will be best since I guard my food, so if you have older kids such as 10 and up that will know to let me be while I eat, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: When I arrived from animal control I was quite shut down. The volunteers knew to go slowly with me and give me the time I needed to decompress. As soon as I began to gain confidence, my sweet and lovable lap dog personality shined through. I am a friendly and gentle fellow who is known as ‘a sweet and busy little guy’ that you are sure to love. / My energy level at the shelter was 4-6, but it’s much higher in my foster home, like a 6-8, as I’m very busy. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ command and I’m sure you can teach me even more. / My crate manners were good at Mostly Mutts, and I like my crate in my foster home, so I’d like to have an open door crate in my new home that I can nap in. / My potty habits were very good on the shelter schedule, though I had a couple of initial marking accidents when I went to my foster home. I’ve only been in my foster home for a few days, so ask how it’s going. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love attention and laps, and I will seek out your lap so we can hang out together. I also like to play with toys, and I love my food … a little TOO much as I tend to guard my food bowl. I love being where my foster is, and I will loyally follow her around the house waiting for lap time and cuddles. / At the shelter I was not a fan of having hands hover over my head. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I needed a good dental cleaning when I arrived, so I’ve had that now with 9 teeth pulled. I am looking for a loving home with a great furever family!
