Ferry is a sweet girl. She is looking for her 1st home and family. She loves to play and is going to be a snuggler. She gets along with other dogs and is ok with cats. She can't wait to have some kids to play with. Her adoption fee is $200 and will cover her transport. She is currently in TN. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport(www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

I can be shy at first but I warm up fast Potty Trained? Yes Crate Trained? I’m working on it Shedding? Minimal About Daniel: Look no further, I’m the one! Are you looking for the perfect companion? If so, I’m your guy! My name is Daniel (my foster family also calls me Danny Boy) and I believe I’m about 4 years old, although everyone who meets me thinks I have a puppy face. I am a 22-pound male and my foster family thinks I’m a mix between a Corgi and Jack Russel Terrier (who doesn’t love Co-jack). I am a rock star around other dogs, cats, and children. I play endlessly with dogs and I essentially ignore the cats because they aren’t much fun. Children are certainly my favorites and I haven’t met one yet that I didn’t fall for immediately. As for adults, some I adore the minute we meet and others I’d like to take a moment to make sure they are kind to me - but it doesn’t take me long to warm up. I enjoy playing outside with my foster dog sisters and love a fenced in area so I can run freely. Don’t let my short legs fool you because I also enjoy going on walks and have the endurance to keep going as long as you want. However, I also enjoy quiet time – my foster mom works from home and I nap most of the time or play quietly with toys so she can get through her meetings uninterrupted. I wasn’t trained before coming to my foster home, but I learn so quickly that I’m already potty trained!! You’ll just need to make sure I go out regularly. I also learned to sit and shake within a couple hours (and lots of treats – did I mention I am very motivated with treats?!) I do well on long drives, noisy situations, storms, open bowl (no food guarding behavior) and I’m also a low shedder. My absolute favorite thing to do with my foster family is to snuggle. I am working on spending time in a kennel but I do best when I’m with others. Ideally, I would do well in a family that can provide me attention and love, no matter the size the family. I was very shy when I first came to my foster family but I found that love and patience is exactly what I needed to show my true self. If you have love to spare and want an amazing new addition to your family, I would love to meet you! Daniel is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. However, preference will always be given to applicants within 100 miles of the Twin Cities area, which includes parts of Wisconsin.
