Story
Meet Princess Peach Princess Peach is a darling terrier-Chihuahua mix (or at least, that’s our best guess!) looking for a calm and cozy home where she can truly blossom. Whether with a single adopter or a quiet household, she’s ready to find her person and experience all the joys of life. She would love the companionship of other dogs who can help her build confidence, but more than anything, she’s eager for adventures with you—whether it’s a peaceful walk, a fun car ride, or simply cuddling up at home. With a little patience and a lot of love, Princess Peach will become the most loyal and loving companion. If you’re looking for a gentle pup to share your heart and home with, she’s ready to meet you! Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/679bf658e0dc73907f099c74 Questions? Email jodie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Meet Beanie Baby! Beanie Baby is a gentle dachshund mix with a heart full of sweetness and potential. She’s used to living with other dogs, so having some canine friends in her new home would help her feel safe, confident, and ready to blossom. She’ll look to them for guidance as she learns all the joys of living in a loving home. This sun-loving girl would adore having a yard to bask in, but she’s also ready to join you for walks as she continues to build her leash skills. Beanie Baby is cat-friendly and would do well in a home with dog-savvy feline companions. She’s a calm, kind soul who thrives in a peaceful environment where she can open up at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her playful side will shine—she loves treats, gentle playtime, and cuddling on the couch for cozy moments with her person. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive girl who just needs a little patience and love to truly shine, Beanie Baby is ready to be your loyal companion. Could you be the calm and caring home she’s dreaming of? Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/679bf6efe0dc73907f099c7f Questions? Story
Hi! My name is Sweet Pea! I'm called that because I'm as sweet as they come! I am initially a scared girl but once I feel safe and I know you are my friend I will give you love and loyalty, bonus if you offer up extra good treats! I'm currently working on wearing a collar or being on a leash. I've had a few bad experiences with them, so I'm looking for a home with a fenced in yard until I'm comfortable with them. I am a little 18lb min pin mix and I love to run and do zoomies with the other little dog in my foster home - I would be happiest with the companionship of another similar sized dog to play with and help show me the ropes. I'm hoping someone can see the potential I have and will be willing to give me time and space to feel comfortable. I would do best in a home with no kids or older children who know how to respect a dog's space. I may do fine with dog-savvy cats. I am house and crate trained and would love to be your loyal shadow. Might you have the time and love to help me become my very best dog?My adoption fee is $200. I am fully vetted- spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and health checked. To apply to adopt me please visit caws.org. Thank you! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationMarch 15, 2025, 6:29 am

Story
Even though I am not a basset, my friends at UFBH have agreed to help me find a new home. I'm just a baby and I look just like my mom. Like every good little boy, I love my mom and drive her crazy at the same time. I'm busy, curious, loving, playful, and all the things a puppy should be. I'm a special blend of breeds, unknown to all of us, so it will be fun to watch me grow up! We do know that my mom, who is also available for adoption, is under 30 pounds and my dad is under 35 pounds. This means I will probably be somewhere between those weights. (Special adoption fees apply.)
