Mogwai has been my best friend for his entire life of two years, we go everywhere together and he loves to sit on my trucks center console as I hold him. He prefers to sleep in the bed and I've probably spoiled him a bit too much. He only eats Beneful dog food in a can and will 100% go on a food strike if I don't serve him this. I feed him twice a day before I leave for work and in the evenings around 7-8pm and never leave food out. He loves kids, other animals and probably thinks he's as human as I am. Unfortunately, I've recently begun a new job that has me traveling extensively and have had to start kennel training him when I am home and in the office and has begun to retaliate by 'marking' in the house, likely out of anger for the lack xxxx@xxxx.x loves his belly rubs! I would like to see him go to a home where he can be loved as I have loved him and have an amazing life that I'm no longer able to give him and I don't wish to see him kenneled all day every day.

However, once he feels comfortable, his friendly and affectionate nature shines through. He is still learning the ropes of walking on a leash, and with a little patience and encouragement, he will gain confidence in no time.Payton is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. If you`re searching for a sweet and active companion who loves both playtime and snuggles, Payton could be the perfect match for you.Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
