Story
Norma, is a sweet, sweet puppy. Such a sweetie, definitely juicy, loves to snuggle, young but learning quickly. Potty training is going great. She is kennel trained and is learning to walk on a lead. She is a playful puppy and does well with others. Norma will do best with another friendly dog since she's a puppy this will help her develop her adult skills the best. Norma has been around large and small dogs and cats and has done well with all. She enjoys snuggles, as much as she enjoys puppy playtime. Norma is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, she is on heartworm and flea prevention, Her adoption fee is $450

Story
boy oh boy oh BETSY!!!!What a sweet terrific girl she is, Yes she's a little bigger than our normal dogs, but she's got a lot of love to share too! She was discarded at a vet clinic with a male who was the da of the litter she had a few months prior. Betsy is apparently (by appearance), a corgi-cattle dog cross. (we don't routinely do DNA). She has a good amount of energy, but will settle and enjoy snuggle time. Betsy can be dominant and has had some disputes with the other pets in the home. Nothing serious, but it seems she would do best with one other calm balanced pet. She loves to be outdoors, chase squirrels, etc.. Its unknown how she does with cats and we haven't observed her with kids, so for now we will say only older kids and adults and leave the cat section unmarked. Her house manners are good, considering she seemed to have spent a fair amount of time on her own. Betsy is a smart girl and will benefit from training. She is spayed and had her teeth cleaned at the vet. She is vaccinated and microchipped and is on heartworm and flea preventatives. She is heartworm negative. We hope you will look at her and if you have an active lifestyle, you will consider Betsy as a new member of your family.

Story
Laszlo & Cassidy are a bonded pair and are volunteer favorites! Laszlo is a 5-year-old Corgi mix who weighs about 20 lbs. Cassidy is a 3-year-old terrier mix who weighs about 40 lbs. This duo will have your ribs hurting as you laugh at the fun when they are wrestling, playing chase and doing zoomies around the yard. Cassidy is a social butterfly and is always the first one to greet people at Waldo's Dog Dorm. She just thrives on attention and wants tons of loving. She's a very active girl who needs plenty of room to run. Cassidy loves toys and is fabulous with all other dogs and people. She was dumped at a kill shelter which is where we saved her. We have found that she becomes very anxious and fearful around children younger than 10 years of age; this has led us to believe that in her original home there were young children who didn't respect her space and pulled her fur/tail and traumatized her which is likely the reason for her being left at the shelter. Laszlo was a stray who survived at the Morgan County Fairgrounds from the time he was 6 months old until he was finally trapped at 18 months. He was totally feral when we got him and avoided people at all costs. However, this wonderful boy has learned that chest rubs and ear scratches are heavenly; Laszlo won't take treats until he is massaged and scratched; touch is his "love language" ... he craves it more than treats. Laszlo does still need continued rehabilitation after the trauma he experienced during his first year and a half of life. A quiet, loving, patient home with few visitors will be necessary for him. Because of his experience of having long choke tethers on the end of metal poles on him by animal control officers, he is still very fearful of leashes/harnesses. We will provide training techniques to whoever adopts him to help with this, but it's doubtful that her will ever be comfortable taking walks on a leash due to this past trauma. Both of these dogs have so much love to give. What you invest in them in time and love will be returned in spades! Their playfulness along with their love of being massaged & rubbed make them such wonderful family members who will bring smiles and joy to whoever adopts them. Their perfect home will have a VERY SECURE fenced-in yard, no children under 16; as well as a calm, peaceful environment with experienced dog owners who provide positive reinforcement and lots of praise. Whoever adopts Laszlo and Cassidy will be very lucky indeed! The adoption fee for the pair is $325; both are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and kept on year-round heartworm/flea preventative.
