Persian kittens & cats in Metropolis, Illinois

Someone dumped Midnight and her sister (Rosie) when they were kittens and they came straight to my door and meowed the saddest meows ever heard. I let them in. That was 10 years ago. Due to health issues, finances and my living situation I need to find a home for Midnight. Midnight can get along with other cats but it really depends on the other cats. She gets along well with children, people, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits. Rosie and Midnight have been together their whole lives. I do believe they can be separated as they are not that close anymore. Midnight is very affectionate and will follow you from room to room. I would say she is needy. She also has anxiety because I can not pet her unless I wash my hands immediately as I am allergic to cats. I believe this has contributed to her anxiety. While she can get along with other cats she would like to be the only cat. She is happy with other types of animals. She would like lots of attention and affection and will sleep on you.
