Blanche came in as a bottle baby and was born in mid-July 2024. Blanche grew up in foster care with three other little girls and they became "the golden girls!" The girls love to play together and Blanche is a gorgeous tortie longhair, she is more timid than the other girls, but loves to be petted and talked to. Blanche needs a home with other felines, so if you don't already have one - she suggests one of her "sisters" Dorothy, Sophia or Rose. Come down and meet them all - they are a lovely bunch! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
