Meet Chloe! Chloe is a sweet Persian born in 2011. Don't let her "grumpy" face fool you, once she feels comfortable Chloe is the cutest and sweetest little girl. Chloe spent her first 14 years with her person in a quiet and stable environment so understandably she is a bit slow to trust and warm up because this is all new to her. Once she warms up she will greet you at the door demanding love and pets, she is super easy and likes to find a quiet safe space to nap in. She hasn't been exposed to other animals and would probably do best as an only animal in a quieter home. She does do very well with older respectful kids. Chloe will be a great companion and needs to find someone to love and spend her senior years with. She is fully vetted and has excellent litter manners. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fee is $150 which includes first years vaccinations, combo testing, spay and microchip.

Moony is half Persian and half American shorthair. He has a beautiful, lush short coat, almost like rabbit fur. He is a big cat at about 13lbs. He is in perfect health at almost two years old. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He gets along great with my dog and my kids, and is very gentle. He’s like a big baby. The only reason I’m rehoming him is because my other cat is elderly and just does not like him at all. She is extremely stressed by his mere presence and spends all her time hiding and it’s causing her heath issues. It’s not fair to keep subjecting her to it. We will be very sad to see him go.

Sky is about four years old. She's sassy and won't hesitate to let you know if she doesn't like something, especially when it comes to her food – she's quite the picky eater. Despite her selective tastes, Sky absolutely loves playing, and once she warms up to you, she'll happily chase you around. Unfortunately, my wife and I are faced with the tough decision of finding Sky a new home as we're relocating and there will be a lot of traveling involved afterward. We believe it's in Sky's best interest to find her forever home before our move. We're searching for someone who can give Sky the attention and care she needs.

Meet Thor: What a beauty! What a lover boy! What a jerk with other cats 🤣. Thor is a three year old white Persian with blue eyes. Thor is a sweet, affectionate boy with a stunning coat and amazing blue eyes. He does not like other cats. If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $350. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application.
