Stunning Purebred Shaded Silver Persian Senior Gal Hello There!!! My name is Miss Rue and I am a purebred Shaded Silver Persian senior kitty.  I am what's called a doll-faced Persian, so my face isn't all squishy. I have gorgeous green eyes and a long, flowing coat that's to die for. I love people and get along just fine with other non-aggresive cats. I am scared of dogs and children, so probably not a good fit for you if you have either of those in your home.  I am sweet, loving, affectionate, timid, and gentle. I will need a patient adopter who will let me hide when I am first taken to my new home. I will begin to blossom before your eyes as I become more comfortable with my surroundings. And will eventually sleep in bed with you.  I am a perfect lady, with excellent litter box and scratching manners. Cherry is a non-standard Minuet (cross of Persian & Minuet). She is really a sweet and affectionate cat but likes more attention than I can give her. I got her as a companion for my elderly mom when she was living with me but she is gone now. I am not so much a cat person. She gets real playful (zoomies) a couple times a day and in between, sleeps in various favorite spots. She is litter trained. She and my dog play together. She is very shy to anyone/anything at first but warms up given a little time. I will include all the food, toys, supplies that I have with her. I didn’t mark “good with other cats” because I don’t have any others but before she came here she lived with other cats.

Betty Boop is a sweet and shy long-haired black Himalayan cat who is on the hunt for her forever home! She enjoys being in the company of people but prefers that they keep their distance unless she makes the first move. She has made strides in being more social since being in her foster home and we’re eager to see the progress she’ll continue to make in her forever home! She likes to stick out her tongue when she's hungry and will make it known that she's ready for her food. Miss Boop will require a patient adopter willing to win over her trust by providing love and letting her lead the way. She is a quite kitty who enjoys a good hiding cubby and will nonchalantly rub against your legs when you least expect it. It would be a while until she is ready to be fully pet, so her adopter must be willing to patiently build trust with her. She would make an excellent companion for another laid back cat as well. She came from the streets of Houston as a stray mama cat and had several litters of kittens before finally being trapped and brought into Austin Siamese Rescue.
