Story
Jimmy is a stunningly handsome, long haired part Persian young boy. He was rescued from the mean streets. We are very happy to have him with us until his forever home is found. Jimmy does not have that smooshed in face like some Persians do. He is a quiet nice boy. Enjoys being petted. Gets along well with his fellow foster mates. We would like to see Jimmy in a home with another cat or dog. He is young and needs a 4-legged friend to keep him active. Long haired cats need maintenance and grooming. Long hair/Persian experience preferred. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Story
As you can see from her photos, Abby is not your typical cat.  That said, there are not enough words to describe what a special cat she is.  She will steal your heart quicker than you can blink.  She is sweet and talkative, carrying on entire conversations once she get to know you.  She is calm, taking most everything in stride and very gentle.  Some of her likes include a peaceful environment with gentle brushings and lap time with much petting.  Though she tolerates having her face washed, it is not her favorite thing.  She is a young senior (8 years old) looking for that special someone to share her love and life with. If you are interested in Abby, fill out an application and come meet her.  She may be the one you have been searching for. Adoption fee: $100, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. The adoption policies and applications can be found at the following links: https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-cat and https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-dog. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. Story
Harrison is a 2.5 year-old, white pure-bread Persian. I purchased Harrison as a surprise for my wife about 2.5 years ago because she grew up with Persians and always talked about it. Unfortunately, it just hasn’t been working out for us as we hoped. We moved shortly after getting him, and because our new home is very small, the only spot for his litter box is next to our bedrooms - which isn’t a suitable long-term situation. Also, our young kids keep letting him outside, so after we work hard to bath him the then ends up outside. He doesn’t have any behavioral issues and does fine with our kids. He typically hides from strangers when they visit, so I’d expect an adjustment period when he moves. We have two litter boxes (automatic and standard) along with a bunch of gear we plan to include. The ideal home would not have other pets and would be owners that are fine to let him go outside and Rome if he chooses. He is up to date on all his shots and vaccines.

Story
Alvin is a gorgeous purebred male adult Persian that we are so happy to be able to help. He was abandoned by his family and thankfully he is with our rescue. Unfortunately his brother was not able to come to us. Alvin is approximately 5 or 6 years old. He is such a sweet, kind and gentle boy. He has the Persian eye thing going on which means he will need to have his eyes wiped daily but other than that he is very healthy. Just waiting on a forever home. We want Alvin to go to an experienced Persian cat home due to the care needed with the eyes and maintaining matt-free fur. He gets along just fine with other cats. Not tested on dogs but should be fine. Persian/Himalayan experience preferred Fostered in Fairfax, VA
