THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Gideon is a purebred West Highland White Terrier born 7/20/24 and was recently released to rescue by a commercial breeder. He is a little shy at first but soon warms up to people when he realizes he will not be harmed. Happy and energetic, this little guy needs a confident resident dog (preferably a female) who doesn't mind sharing toys and resources. Due to his background and lack of confidence in new environments, Gideon does require a securely fenced yard in his forever home. Gideon is neutered, microchipped, parasite free, and up to date on vaccinations. The suggested adoption donation for Gideon is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
