Ivy's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Ivy's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=006263) to learn even more about Ivy! Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Ivy is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Ivy is an absolute sweetheart with so much love to give! She is an easygoing, friendly snuggle bug whose passions include licking lotion off her human and chasing shadows on the wall. Ivy felt immediately comfortable in our home, following us from room to room and laying her head in our laps. She pays little mind to our noisy neighbors, and has been great with guests in our home. Ivy loves a good game of tug or fetch, but is gentle with her toys. She is relatively calm indoors, with an occasional case of the zoomies. She also moonlights as an exterminator—she caught a moth in mid-air her first day with us. That being said, walks can be a bit tricky as she tries to catch every bug, bird, or rodent that crosses our path. She is food motivated and is making quick progress with her training, making walks easier by the day. Pro tip: walk on the shady side of the street, as she tends to chase shadows on sunny days. With a little bit of training, Ivy will be the perfect companion, and I will certainly be jealous of whoever is lucky enough to adopt this girl!

I am energized and ready to make my forever home happy and loved. Initially, I need a little time to warm up to you, but I enjoy snuggle time on the couch once I am well-adjusted! I LOVE food and treats, and always so excited for dinner time! I take medication, but I have no problem eating them if they are in a peanut butter pill pocket, those are my favorite. I enjoy hanging out with other dogs, and I enjoy spending time with adults! I do not go to the bathroom in the house, and I always sleep through the night when I am in my crate! When I am feeling overwhelmed, I do get excited with my leash, but once I let my energy out, I feel much better with my leash. When I am in my crate, sometimes I do feel overwhelmed and sometimes will show it, but after 20-30 minutes, and feel much better, I will take a nice nap.

Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)           Meet Loza from Egypt Gender: Female Age: 1,4 months Energy level: medium Temperament: friendly with people , loves to play Breed: paraoh hound Mix Spayed/Neutered: yes Weight: 46lbs Health/medical concerns (please explain): Healthy , vaccinated , dewormed Walks well on leash: yes Potty trained: yes Good in car: yes Excessive barking: noSeparation anxiety: no Food aggression: no Good with other dogs: yes Good with cats: not tested Good with men: yes Good with women: yes Good with kids: yes Looza story , she was taken from her mother when she was a puppy and was abandoned on a busy street before she was rescued.     All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.     Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Please fill out an application and email to: For Cats: cats@zanisfurryfriends.org For Dogs: dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org For Rabbits: nyc.acc.rabbits@gmail.com. Please visit our website zanisfurryfriends.org.
