She's waiting to bring laughter, fun, and a whole lot of love to her forever home.   Estimated DOB: 7/2/2018 Adoption fee- $  200      (includes 6% State Sales Tax)   From Glitter: What I am looking for in my perfect home. Someone who LOVES water as much as I do. I love to swim in my fosters small pool Someone who is active and wants to take me on walks or play around in the backyard. Someone who will let me join them on car rides as I do really well on them. I lived outside most of my life but that is not the life I prefer; I enjoy being around my people. I can be a little hyper, I don’t enjoy sharing my food with other dogs, but I do well with other dogs once I have been introduced to them, I really like meeting new dogs even if I bark a lot at them at first. I do tend to mark my territory in new places but once I have settled, I stop doing this but may want to keep an eye on me when you first take me home. I really am a great dog if you would take a chance on me. I would not do well around small animals as they look like fun toys. Cats are okay but if they run, I will chase them so would be better in a home without cats for safety reasons. If you made it this far, I have one last thing to say, I ENJOY running so a fenced in back yard or a leash is a must while I am outside. I enjoy the chase and it feels like a fun game, but I don’t want to get lost.     Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility. Please call our Adoption Center to schedule a meet and greet: 502 863-3279. Story
John B is such a handsome guy, just like his namesake, character "John B" in Netflix's Outer Banks. He weighs around 25 pounds now and is growing fast! He loves nothing more than wrestling with his sister, Kiara, and trying to keep up (running laps in the yard) with the large breed foster dogs in the home. He does well with a routine, is completely crate trained, sleeps in a crate all night and is quiet when crated during the day. In his foster home, he has started boot camp house training this weekend and he gets a 100%. He is doing well walking on a leash too! He loves treats and playing with toys. He does well with other dogs his size but would appreciate a slow introduction to larger dogs as he can be a bit timid at first. He does great with the large dogs in the foster home but can be fearful of new large dogs initially. John B just needs to continue working on boosting his confidence through training, so patient, understanding adopters are a must for this guy! John B has completed his vet care and is ready to meet his forever family! If you're interested in adopting John B, please submit an adoption application and we'll be in touch ASAP! His adoption fee is $300. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets would be required before starting the 2-week adoption trial period.
