Story
Looking for a person or couple who can give our 2.5 yr old dog, Ellie, the love, time and larger space that she deserves. Ellie was rescued from a reservation where my husband found her frozen in the snow. she was raised with our 5lb yorkie after a year of living up north with my husband. Ellie is a spunky dog with an abundance of energy. she loves people and dogs alike. we had no children until recently when we have had our first baby and she has been respectful of the baby since we brought her home and is very gentle of our 5lb yorkie. During our pregnancy, Ellie showed some reactivity to other dogs when walking on a leash. When visitors come over she can be a bit of a handful in our small townhome. She is not aggressive but she has trouble with greetings (jumping up) and then calming down with visitors. She has been evaluated by a professional trainer who says she is not aggressive, however, she can be stubborn and has a lot of energy.
