Chela has been feeling a bit down since her dad passed away. She was confused and upset at first, not really understanding why she was here. However, after receiving lots of love and with a slow and gentle introduction to new people, she's starting to feel much better.It's not every day we get to care for an international traveler, but Chela was so loved by her guardian that she's even traveled overseas!When it comes to crate training, Chela is an expert! She loves her kennel. We've also been told she's harness trained, which is impressive.Chela isn't the best fit for a home with young children. She would be happiest in a calm, adult-only household where she can enjoy the company of someone who doesn't need to constantly pick her up. Once Chela bonds with you, she'll be your biggest fan, but it does take her some time to warm up to new people and relationships. Luna has been living in one of our dedicated foster homes for the past few weeks, and she's been an absolute joy to have around. Though she was a bit shy at first, she's really come out of her shell and blossomed into a sweet, social girl.Luna enjoys being part of the action and loves spending time near her people, but she's not the cuddly, constantly-in-your-lap type. She prefers to show affection in her own quiet, quirky ways.One of Luna's favorite spots is the office chair, and she has a knack for finding the coziest (and sometimes funniest) places to nap-like inside backpacks, wardrobes, and even a mop bucket! She's also quite the little explorer, especially curious about sinks and running water.Her foster family says she's been one of their easiest guests yet.
