Story
Meet Karen!Karen was found as stray in Powell River, and then was moved to us! We have no previous history about Karen, but it seems as though she hasn't had much human socialization or interaction over the course of her life, as she is quite fearful of people.***However, recently we have discovered Karen loves company! If you sit with Karen, she will start purring up a storm. Karen doesn't want to be touched but really enjoys someone to spend time with her. She will also wait by the door for you to come and visit her. Who knows, she may be a lap cat one day! Story
Meet Gatsby! Gatsby is a very stoic boy. We believe he grew up around people but wasn't touched much. He was neutered late in life so he is a bit bossy to other cats. He would probably be happier as the only cat in the home. Gatsby is great about using his litter box and really enjoys his kibble, wet food and treats! Staff can pat him and he is learning what that's all about! Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1. View the animal's profile at adopt.spca.bc.ca 2.
