Story
Beautiful FERB and PHINEAS are a wonderful pair of young brothers. Fashionable FERB is a black and white tuxedo with an adorable face. He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he will roll over for belly rubs and he'll push his sweet face into your hands for head rubs. PHINEAS is a stunning, sleek black panther who will quickly let you know what a party boy he really is! He loves to follow his foster mom around the house, squeaking for attention and treats!  These boys love to catch stringy toys, climb on the cat tree, and romp around the house with each other—then when they’re worn out, they cuddle up together at nap time.  They have been living in a loving foster home with other cats and friendly dogs.  These sweet boys have fun personalities, and would prefer a calm home where they can relax and enjoy their forever people. Ferb and Phineas have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Ferb and Phineas in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $260 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
[PLEASE NOTE Cats in these pictures, may or may not be available for adoptions] Cat Rescue & Adoption Network foster families give their kitties lots of TLC and attention. Because of that, we have very well socialized cats that are readily adopted. We always need more fosters to help fulfill our mission of helping rescue special needs animals. Fosters are provided with all the food, bedding and litter the cat needs. We also pay all their medical expenses. Your part is to give them love and attention and how hard can that be? This is the perfect opportunity to have a pet without a life time commitment. Fostering lasts anywhere from one week to several months and YOU get to choose whether you foster bottle babies, kittens or adult cats AND how many. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area and have love to spare for these kitties, please call 541-225-4955 Option 4, or fill out a foster application at: www.CatRescues.org/forms/cat-foster-applicationNovember 5, 2024, 2:34 pm

Story
LIONEL (R) and SARGE (L) are a pair of bonded brown tabby male kitties that make the cutest odd couple; Lionel is an energetic little teenager who loves to run around and chase toys and strings, and Sarge is his sweet “big brother” who loves to hang out and cuddle with Lionel. They are both highly social, loving, and outgoing, and are so much fun to have around.  Lionel is bouncy, funny, and entertaining, and Sarge is a bundle of love and affection – a gentle giant who likes everyone he meets (other cats, dogs, and people). Sarge is currently on a weight reduction program to slim down, and he’s already seeing progress! He is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day, but it's very easy to care for a diabetic cat, and Sarge’s foster mom will help guide his new family on his medical care. [There’s always a chance that Sarge’s diabetes will improve as he loses weight.]  These two boys will bring tremendous joy to their new forever home! Both cats are good with dogs and gentle kids, but while Sarge is fine with other cats, Lionel can be aggressive with cats that aren’t as energetic as he is – so this bonded pair will do best as the only cats in the household. LIONEL and SARGE have both been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet them in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee for the pair is $185, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
