Story
Meet Peewee! Oh hey, I’m Peewee and I see you have a hand free - please pet me! You won’t regret it - I’m super soft and plush! I’m a pomeranian mix and I have the fur to prove it. I’m a senior and about 13 pounds. I don’t have any known health issues. I was found as a stray in Chicago - can you believe it? Beautiful moi?? Kids, adults, seniors - I love anyone who wants to give me some attention. Here in my foster home, I love to be where the action is. You’re in the kitchen? I’m in the kitchen! You’re watching TV? Well, me too! I’ve been attending lots of Albert’s events lately, and I love meeting my fans. I also live with several other dogs in my foster home. We’re all fine with each other, but we all have a little dog complex, and we all want to be “the boss.” I can get a little vocal with the other dogs, but that’s it. But I shouldn't live with cats. I’m a pretty vocal guy in genereal, and probably wouldn’t make the best apartment dog. Despite my age, I have some energy and would do best in a home that can give me regular walks. I get so excited when the leash comes out! I’m house trained and don’t destroy anything when left out, but might have an accident when left out for long periods unsupervised. My foster parents crate me when they leave the house, and I don’t mind too much. I get a little nervous during thunderstorms, but you can keep me comfortable by sitting close to me so I know there's nothing to be scared of. Now foster mom says that I'm all clear to find my forever home, so I hope you have someone that lives with you that might have a free hand to pet me alot! *Peewee is being fostered in Madison, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Story
** Apartments NOT recommended **Meet Ruby, a 20 lb Pomeranian mix with the absolute softest fur and an adorable face that looks perpetually concerned (which she might actually be). While it takes her a while to warm up, once she does she's not afraid to demand pets and snuggle up with her person. She's working hard on potty training but keeps her crate clean and goes in when asked. She's dog friendly and loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home, but could also be an only dog. Because she has a lot to say about being separated from her people, apartments are not recommended. If you're willing to give her the time and patience she needs to get comfortable, she'll be the sweetest little best friend to you. Meet Ricardo, a 20 lb Pomeranian mix with the most delightful ears, softest fur, and wiggliest body. This boy is so happy and full of life! He loves being near his people, romping in the yard, destuffing toys, and napping near foster mom. He immediately full-body wiggles his way into the hearts of everyone he meets, is dog friendly, loves his crate, and is just a delight to be around. He's generally medium energy and is working hard on potty training. Don't miss out on this sweetheart!I am still new to rescue, so please check back for updates as my foster family gets to know me. Story
Bree is being fostered in NJ. Her name is Bree but you could also call her Little Miss Perfect! Bree adjusted to her foster home with no problem and immediately found her way around and knew how to get our attention when she needs to go outside. She has the playfulness of a puppy - if you bring Bree into your family, have plenty of squeaky toys on hand. She loves to destroy them! Bree is also happy to sit on your lap or next to you as you relax. She enjoys "watching" TV and will bark if she hears a dog on the screen. She is also a good car rider. She is a well-mannered little girl who knows her manners, like to sit when receiving a treat. And she does expect a treat when she comes back inside from going potty. Bree mostly sleeps in her own dog bed at night, but will sometimes want to sleep in the bed next to someone. Since going blind, she can be reactive when another dog invades her space, or even if Bree invades their space. We've had a few spats but everyone has come out unharmed. It is best to feed Bree in her own space. Even though Bree is a senior dog, she has plenty of playful years ahead of her and will be a joy to any family who adopts her. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Before coming to Wisconsin, Lance only knew his backyard in Texas. One day his owner died… leaving him and 5 other dogs in the backyard. Our Texan rescue friends went to the property to get Lance and his doggie family out of there, but one of them was not so lucky. 😢Lance was taken into a foster home in Texas where he learned to live in a house 🏠 with people. He’s learned that potty is for outside, a kennel is a safe spot, and to trust people. After his long and stressful journey 🚐 to Wisconsin he had to learn to trust all over again, but children helped! After being given a chance to warm up, Lance enjoys being around people, especially kids! 👦🏼 He can be quiet and shy… then he’ll surprise you with his cute, fluffy tail wags and his adorable, playful demeanor! He’s just starting to learn that couches are comfy and snuggling at the foot of the bed 🛏️ can be delightful. We believe that Lance is a Pomeranian mix. He’s around 4 years old and weighs 13 pounds. He’s also neutered and UTD on vaccines. 💉 Lance walks well on a leash and enjoys being brushed. He does really well at the groomer’s too. 🛁 Although he doesn’t seem to mind dogs of any size, he prefers other dogs or puppies 🐶 that are more his size to play with. He does well around cats too. We’d love to see him go to a forever home that has either children or a size-appropriate companion for Lance so that he can begin living his best life. That is why he came here, after all! ❤️Lance is being fostered in central 📍 Wisconsin and his adoption fee is $450.You can apply to adopt at:https://www.biggiepawsrescue.org DATCP #494550DATCP # 494550
