Story
A24667 Noff is a tan and white colored, approximately 8-year-old, 9-pound, neutered male, Pomeranian. He entered the shelter as a stray on 01-02-2025. Noff is a friendly, shy, easy to handle boy here at the shelter. Our staff describes him as a sweet boy, who is very gentle and shy. He calmly sits and waits for you when you approach his kennel. He was easy to leash and well behaved during our walks, a nice slow easy walker. Once he knows you, he will climb right up in your lap for love and affection. He will curl right up and go to sleep. We would recommend a nice quiet home and someone looking for a friend to watch TV with. Noff will be a loving companion in his new forever home.

Story
I was gifted Eris when living in MS back in 2016 from a coworker who had to relocate quickly and could not bring her with. Unfortunately we don’t know her exact age for this reason but we guess around 10 years. She has lived in three states and handled each move with grace. She is great with other animals, at one point she lived with a cat and 5 dogs. She became very maternal towards my MIL’s pomchi when living together. Eris is very vocal (likes to let u know when she needs food or water). When she gets silly she barks and will flail her whole body around trying to get you with her paws. She is super cuddly and loves to lay/sleep with humans. She knows how to use puppy pads and is okay with dog diapers although she doesn’t love them (even the fun ones with skirts). Her hair unfortunately tends to get matted when growing due to previous owner shaving her hair off, but it is easy to maintain with frequent cuts and brushing (we usuallly trim at home but she loves the salon too).

Story
🌟 Meet Leo, an Adorable 8-Year-Old Pomeranian Seeking a Loving Home 🌟 ✨Leo is a sweet, playful, energetic companion looking for a forever home due to our newest addition in the family & health. He loves attention, giving kisses & showing off clever tricks like jumping on command. He thrives on walks, playtime & exploring nature. ⚠️ Important Notes: Leo has had a tough past as a stray & shelter dog. He has experienced seizures, separation anxiety & can show defensive behaviors like barking, with food, or biting if forcing touch. He needs a home with no young kids or other pets, where his boundaries are respected (e.g., avoid touching paws or picking him up). 🏡 Ideal Home: Previous experienced owners who are patient, attentive & committed to his care & comfortable with one pet. A calm, loving home will allow Leo to shine as the loyal and affectionate companion he is at heart. His new family must be open to a transition period and occasional visits. Thank you kindly! 🐶💛

Story
Hello Obi!! In Las Vegas Nevada! Obi was an owner surrender and is 3 years old. His former family did not have the time to give him the proper attention. When we picked him up, he was a little afraid at first and growled, but by the time we got home, he was loving and wanted to be petted. Obi loves affection! He has since learned to play with squeaky toys and he loves non-rawhide chews. It was a learning process, but now he has his squeaky toys, his bed, his crate and enjoys treats, When it comes time for brushing he will let you brush him all over. We would describe Obi as a loving, affectionate dog that would benefit from becoming more social and exposed to the world. Will you be the family that shows Obi the world?? He is also a snuggler and loves to sit in your lap while watching TV, but this proves a little challenging, after all, he is 18.5 pounds!!! A throwback pommie. He is crate trained and will go into his crate but sometimes will growl a little bit but settles right in. At night he prefers to sometimes sleep downstairs on the couch or in the bedroom by my bed. PLEASE no apartment living for Obi. He LOVES to bark at cars going by, the next-door neighbor’s dog, and loud noises. This can be worked on with dedicated training, right now we use the water squirter and the command of quiet. He is getting better, but it is still a process. One really good aspect, Obi is potty trained. His schedule is below. He LOVES to eat!! We have improved his diet with better food and either pumpkin or occasionally boiled mashed sweet potatoes mixed in with his everyday food. Right now he eats Blue Buffalo dry food and Nutri-Source canned food topped with green beans. We highly recommend that he stay on the same diet or even keep the same dry food and he also enjoys Fresh Pet which can be used in place of Nutri-Source canned. Since he loves to eat, the green beans provide food but without a lot of calories. Daily Supplements: Caniclean - a natural supplement for the teeth (this is super important, he will need a dental within 6-8 months) Turkey Tail Holistic Immune Support (2 bags provided which will last for quite a while) Probiotics (daily) SUPER Affectionate and enjoys car rides! We would recommend a family with children over the age of 6 and we are not sure if he is familiar with cats. Does well with dogs, but no small dogs under the weigth of 10 pounds. SCHEDULE: 6 - 7am - Potty time 7:15 am - Breakfast which is 1 cup of dry food (Blue Buffalo) and 1 big tablespoon of moistened wet food Blue Buffalo/Fresh Pet. 1 pm - Potty time - snack time. Just be careful of treats with corn syrup or sugar. The more natural the better. 5:00 - 6:00 PM - Potty time and dinner time 9:00 - 10:00 PM last potty time for the night UTD on Shots Neutered Chipped Before adoption, a home check and application will be required. Questions call Carole McCabe-Joy - 702-234-1501 pompalacedogrescue@gmail.com, Thank you!!
