You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Floof came to us from the NYC shelter system. He was found as a stray and landed himself on the "New Hope Only" list for behaving badly at the shelter. He is now in a NJ foster home and we hope he will be ready for adoption soon. Floof understandably was overwhelmed and terrified at the shelter. Now that he is in a foster home, he is settling in. He mostly seems sad and has a little cough so he isn't feeling his best. Floof is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We are working to schedule his neuter soon. His adoption fee is $300. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Simba is estimated to be about 7 years old. Vets listed him as a pomeranian based on his characteristics but we all know breed is generally a best guess. Who knows, could have some Esky mix in there. We just don't know. But here's what we do know: Simba is about 13 pounds. No small children in the home for him as he can be mouthy when overstimulated. So far he has been great with all of the other dogs he's met. Simba is neutered, microchippped and up to date on core vaccines. Interested in adopting me? Meet Archie! Archie is a 5-6 year old male Pomeranian who was rescued from being found left in a dumpster. Now safe at Husky House, Archie is looking for his loving forever home. Unfortunately, Archie has had a few seizures since arriving at Husky House, so he takes medication twice daily to help manage them. Poor Archie is very nervous around people, which is understandable given his history. He does not go out of his way to snap, but may growl or get snappy when people do not respect his boundaries (e.g. try to pick him up when he is uncomfortable).
