Story
Sissie is an absolute love bug that thinks if 1 minutes goes by without being held, that is 1 minute too many! This little social butterfly weighs 5 pounds and knows that is just the perfect size for canine arm candy. She was born 11/19/21. Sissie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain her good health. Due to her small size she will not be considered for homes with small children. Sissie is located in Arkansas. Her adoption donation is $1200 plus a $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Sissie please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. href="http://dhd.coffeecup.com/forms/bhsapp/">You can find a copy of that application here. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer will contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Oakley is a very social, sweet, adorable little male Pomeranian that loves to be held and loves to snuggle. This 5-pound little guy was born on 11/19/21. He was born with malformed knees, also called stifles, which cause him to move with somewhat lowered hindquarters like he is getting ready to sit or squat. However, this does not slow him down and when he hears his name called, he comes running. Oakley is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain his good health. Due to his small size he will not be considered for homes with small children. Oakley is located in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $965 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Oakley, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Chase is 7 years old and definitely has a lot of life left in him. He loves to run and play in the yard. He is good with other dogs but does like his space unless he engages to play. Chase is a happy little guy and loves to have his head petted and his neck and back rubbed and massaged. He does not like to be picked up all the time but will let you know when he does. He will jump up on your lap from affection. Chase gets very excited when people visit him. We have worked on two options that help him, have our guests come in and not put their hands down to pet him until he smells them and then he is fine or put him in another room until the guests have settled in and then he will come and greet them. He is not mean, he just gets so excited he nips at your fingers if you try to pet too soon.   It will take Chase a little time to settle in but once he does he will be your companion for the rest of his life.   He is house trained but might need an early morning potty break but he lets you know that he has to go out. He is currently living with 5 other dogs from 10 lbs to 70 lbs, senior and puppy!! He gets groomed about every 8 weeks to keep his beautiful coat neat. He loves to prance after he returns from the groomer. He likes to take walks and also likes to go in the car, he is a little nervous at first and then settles down.    Since Chase is so excited to see people we will not place him with a family with children. He needs adult attention as children may spook him.  Chase needs to have a fenced yard so he can run and play in addition to any walks and car rides offered to him. Chase has been around cats at the groomer and does not seem to care.   The perfect home for Chase would be with a retired family and no other animals. Chase does have some food aggression, so when he is fed let him finish his bowl and walk away before picking up the bowl. He gets fed twice a day and no grazing. He takes treats very gently.SPECIAL NOTE FOR YOU. wE HAVE DONE A DNA ON THIS LITTLE BOY AND HERE IT IS:  Chase's DNA Results - main breeds  (I would not have guessed the poodle first, his coat is straight and sleek) 30% Poodle (Toy and Miniature) 22% Chihuahua 11% Pomeranian 6% American Eskimo Dog 6% Miniature Pinscher   If you are interested in Chase, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2024, 2:58 pm

Story
ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13798My name is Buddy Boy but you can call me Buddy. I am a 6 month old 9 lb Pomeranian. My original family bought me and let me roam and said to neighbors “we don’t want him, you keep him”! Ouch!I was lucky that the neighbors took me in and treated me like the sweet puppy I am. They are older and a puppy wasn’t on their wish list.I am crate trained and like sleeping in my crate or a dog bed. I am soooo sweet. I am doing great on potty breaks outside. I am all love and I must say quite the looker. Buddy Boo is deaf but responds to hand signals for sit, down and working on stay.. He will keep eye contact to know what is expected of him. He is a care free, hoppy, zoomie puppy. Are you ready to bring me home? I’ll be the best boy ever!
