Story
Toby needed a home and I have fostered him since he was a pup. Still to this day I have been unable to place him and with traveling for work, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to continue to home until an alternative option becomes available so therefore, I am exploring this choice in hopes of finding him a permanent forever loving home <3

Story
My name is Ali and I sadly had my owner die recently and now me and the other two girls in the family are fighting to survive at the local shelter. I am not a girl that deserves to be in a poor small unair- conditioned shelter like this. I am a purebred 4 yr old Pomsky with beautiful blue eyes and 54 lb. Yes, I know I'm overweight. I am such a diva and drama queen that I will throw myself on the floor for attention or especially to get some extra treats. It worked for years with my owner and here I am, probably  15 to 20 lbs. overweight. I am told that someone needs to put me on a diet and take me for walks. I'm ready. Anything that I can do to get out of this shelter, I will do it gladly. I get along with other dogs, but I do like to be center of attention. I am housebroken and good on a leash.  It sure is hot with all this fur and I'm just saying I need some help please. If you don't know what a pomsky is it's a Pomeranian and Eskimo dog combined. Lots of hair and lots of pretty fur to pet.  I sure will be warm in the winter if I'm in a cold climate. But the summertime isn't my friend unless I'm in air conditioning. Please help by being  a foster or being an adopter. Critter Cavalry is looking for help. Please email them at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Emmy needs: -Active adult home or one with children over 10 -Someone home most of the day -Prefer to be the only dog so I get all of the attention Hey, I’m Emmy! I’m a female Pomeranian mix weighing in around 7 pounds. I’m about 3 years old and am super sweet and adorable! My foster family says I am the most loveable little girl! I like being in the same room with my loved ones when they are home. I am friendly with humans. I would be happy being the only dog because I do not interact with other dogs in my home and really want all the attention for myself from my humans! I am doing well with my potty training and am a quick learner about the routine in my foster home. Also, I have not had any accidents in my crate. If you do not have a fenced yard, but are willing to walk me frequently on a leash and harness that will be just fine also. I am not a big fan of the crate, but if you have to leave for a couple hours, I will grudgingly stay in there. I want to sleep with my human at night and if you try to crate me, I will have a lot to say about that. I just want to be close to you anytime I can! If you want someone to be your copilot, I am happy to go for a ride or adventure with you! I do like a good belly rub, but you are welcome to pet me all the time. I am fully vetted and ready to go to my forever home. I promise I’ll be the best little girl and will love you forever if you adopt me. Could you be my new family? My adoption fee is $175.

Story
Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Adoption fee:  $150.00   They just don't come any sweeter than this little classic pooch! Ophelia was found wandering the streets in Atlanta. She had mammary tumors and a perforated right eye. SCMR is honored to help this older sweetie. She's about 12 pounds and is 10+ years old but still very frisky. We thought at first she was an apricot poodle mix until we got the results of a DNA test. She is 39% chihuahua, 29% pomeranian (hence her reddish color) and only 19% poodle with some other stuff. The surgery to remove the ruined eye was very tough on her but she never complained. A lot of rocking in the rocking chair and tummy rubs helped. One mammary tumor was benign. The other was benign with 'atypia.' So the outlook is pretty good. She's been fully vetted including a badly needed dental. And she's pretty well house trained...sometimes dribbles a tiny bit. But she will let you know when she needs to go out. She gets artificial tears 2-3 times a day in her remaining eye. And there is limited vision in that eye. Sometimes she tilts her head when looking at you. That's because she can only see clearly out of a spot in the lower part of her iris. But since she gets around very well, you would not really know she has any problem. She gets along well with her foster brother and sisters and is the sweetest, most loving little thing you can imagine. Ophelia has a lot of love to give and needs a quiet environment. She would do fine as an only dog as well as being a buddy for a brother or sister. Ophelia likes to be close to her person at all times whether it's lying at your feet while you sit on the sofa or following you to the bathroom. She's going to be there! She eats LIfe's Abundance food with Dr. Marty's Nature's Blend as a topper and a few mashed blueberries for fun. Loving a senior dog is so rewarding. Ophelia is being loved in Chattanooga, TN, until her forever family comes for her.   Adoption fee: $150.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences. You can help make a difference one dog at a time. If you would like to sponsor one of our babies, we accept online donations via PayPal or send a check to us at P.O. Box 2005, Chattanooga, TN 37409. We thank you for whatever you can help us with. Any donation is appreciated and is tax deductible, as allowed by law,  as we are a qualified non-profit 501(c)3 organization.    All our males are sent with BELLY BANDS!    for a one time Donation that goes direct to SCMR please go to our paypal link: July 3, 2024, 8:08 pm

Story
Bree is being fostered in NJ. Her name is Bree but you could also call her Little Miss Perfect! Bree adjusted to her foster home with no problem and immediately found her way around and knew how to get our attention when she needs to go outside. She has the playfulness of a puppy - if you bring Bree into your family, have plenty of squeaky toys on hand. She loves to destroy them! Bree is also happy to sit on your lap or next to you as you relax. She enjoys "watching" TV and will bark if she hears a dog on the screen. She is also a good car rider. She is a well-mannered little girl who knows her manners, like to sit when receiving a treat. And she does expect a treat when she comes back inside from going potty. Bree mostly sleeps in her own dog bed at night, but will sometimes want to sleep in the bed next to someone. Since going blind, she can be reactive when another dog invades her space, or even if Bree invades their space. We've had a few spats but everyone has come out unharmed. It is best to feed Bree in her own space. Even though Bree is a senior dog, she has plenty of playful years ahead of her and will be a joy to any family who adopts her. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
