Little Calvin is such a sweet boy! He is approximately 2yrs old and weighs 14lbs. He is a little insecure for the first few minutes when he meets new people, although that doesn’t last long. He is actually a very friendly, social boy that would love to be a part of a socially active home. He’s also an energetic boy that enjoys spending lots of time outside, running and wrestling with his foster siblings. Since he has always lived with dogs of all sizes and they help boost his confidence, another dog in the home would best. He is great with the kitties, too. Calvin still needs a bit more basic training, but he is very smart and he learns quickly. He’s great on a leash and gets very excited when it’s time to go for a walk. He’s a sturdy little guy so he’d even be a great hiking partner. He is crate trained while his people are away but when they’re home, he would much prefer to be hanging out and be involved with whatever is going on. With regular potty break every few hours, he is also house trained. He’s must have a securely fenced yard. Kids must be over 8yrs old

My name is Sassy and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on 3/12/25.I weigh 11 lbs and am considered a `small breed` dog.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other small dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home.I would do best in a home with older children.I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!I received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although I am ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. My current medical conditions are noted below:1) This dog came in with very matted hair which needed to be shaved to the skin. 2) This dog had severe dental disease. Some loose teeth were extracted, however we recommend following up with your primary veterinarian as there may be other care needed which may include dental x-rays and extractions. Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.

Tuti's favorite activity is cuddling on the couch, guarding her castle (aka her person). Tuti would do best in a quiet home with just one or two people and no other dogs. Penny is my grandfathers Pomeranian. She is a sweet girl but with my grandmother having dementia my grandfather is forced to have to give penny to someone who can best fit her needs and care for her. She is around 13 and has tons of life left in her. She loves to relax and eat food!

The oh so beautiful inside & out Manolo whose picture screamed the disgusting neglect he was in, in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He was posted looking so very defeated. Yes, it appears at the age of 5 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable & disgusting. We rescued this beautiful little lad & his friend Findi from the same home after no one was coming for them. The even sadder part about this is their owner claimed they were strays but it was quickly determined he was not telling the truth. They were going to lose their lives. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Without his outstanding foster dad, this would not of happened for Manolo. Manolo who is now looking for his very own forever home & who will never give up on him again & dump him & love him just as his foster dad in CA did & we do. After we rescued Manolo he was bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find him his loving forever home. The absolute insanity to think this baby doll ended up in one of the highest kill shelters in CA is soul destroying. Manolo just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we first rescued him, he ate multiple bowls of food as if he is making up for lost time. Manolo is a very sweet gentle soul, he is so easy considering what he has endured. Manolo is a very sweet dog & loves his humans once he knows them. Lays with you & can't be happier being petted & touched. He also loves to be with his buddies & just lay with them or do whatever they are doing. We do know that Manolo & Findi are not bonded & he can stress her out. He loves everyone he meets after he knows them & enjoys being cuddled to & given love. He also enjoys snuggling up on the couch & will jump on the couch & spend his day relaxing. We cannot believe someone would be so cruel & neglectful to Manolo. Manolo’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. Manolo has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. He has also started getting used to being dried with a hairdryer. He will just let you dry him. Manolo rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit in his car seat next to you with his dog friends. He also enjoys looking out the window. He still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Manolo where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. He was left in a cage in the shelter until we rescued him. Manolo is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Manolo has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company. We also have tested him in a daycare with other breeds of dogs & does well. Manolo is roughly 5 years old 12.6 lbs & is perhaps a pomeranian mix, what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He is male, neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. Had a dental scale & polish along with dental x-rays. He had several teeth removed, 1 incisor, 1 canine, 2 premolars, 1 molar. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & being dewormed. Manolo has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children. But we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Manolo was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Manolo’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Manolo potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Manolo has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Manolo & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Manolo who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Manolo has an adoption fee of $995 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Copper is a very loving dog. We have had Copper most of his 9 year life. We adopted Copper as a puppy from a family friend who couldn’t handle having a puppy. Copper was our baby and was used to being spoiled. When my husband and got married we decided to start our family. Copper started to really change after I gave birth to my daughter. He really struggled with our growing family and had extreme food aggression and would snap. We have recently added another child to our family and Copper’s behaviors increased to our children and other dog. We’ve tried training, several medications and more. We have tried everything the vet has suggested. It breaks my heart to rehome him. Copper would do best in a quiet home with an older couple or single person with no children. He might do ok with a teenager. He has to be the only pet. A home where he can be someone’s baby. Copper is currently taking anti anxiety medication.
