Story
We are looking to rehome our two one year old pomskys. They are very sweet dogs that need more attention and a fenced in yard. They are very high energy but loving and playful. They are good with children as we have two young children in the home. The boy is neutered and the girl is not yet spayed. We are hoping to find them a home together as they are very bonded littermates.

Story
Clio is an estimated 2 year old Pomeranian/Husky mix weighing 13lbs. She was recently rescued from a puppy mill and she’s a very sweet, outgoing girl who’s really trying to come out of her shell. She’ll run up to you to give you kisses and really enjoys being pet. She is great with dogs of all sizes and unbothered by cats. Despite not knowing much about it, she will happily follow you around on a leash. She is doing great on potty training, and sleeps in a play pen with an open crate over night with no accidents. She loves treats and toys and is loving everything about learning how to be a dog! A home with a fenced yard and another confident dog would be beneficial to her, but is not required. Please note, Clio is only available on a foster-to-adopt basis until spayed. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Clio, please fill out an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt *If you have previously submitted an application for another dog who is pending or has been adopted, you can email us with your full name and phone number and ask us to process your application for another dog or general pre-approval instead*

Story
Hello everyone! I'm Dara, a 5-year-old Pomsky on the lookout for my forever or foster home! I was at a puppy mill and was finally surrendered to this amazing rescue group and they even scheduled my spay. At 47 pounds, I may be a bit bigger than your average Pomsky, but I've got an even bigger heart full of love to give. Right now, I'm feeling a tad shy and reserved, but with a little extra love and patience, I know I'll come out of my shell and shine like the star I am. I’m good with other dogs and despite my initial timidity, I'm a sweet and gentle soul who craves companionship and affection. I'm a firm believer in the power of trust, and once I know I can rely on you, I'll be your most loyal and devoted companion. With my striking beauty and gentle spirit, I'm sure to steal your heart and become the best friend you've ever had! Dara is available for adoption but is also in need of a foster home. To Adopt (or foster-to-adopt), please complete the adoption application here: https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application To Foster, please complete the foster application here: https://anewchancear.org/foster/fostering-application/ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

I'm Darla, the epitome of sweetness wrapped in fur! At 5 years young and weighing a cuddly 40 pounds, I'm a Pomsky with a heart as big as my fluffy coat. I was at a puppy mill and was finally surrendered to this amazing rescue group and they even scheduled my spay. I may be timid at first, but underneath my shy exterior lies a world of love and affection just waiting to be shared with the right family. I am good with other dogs so if you already have one at home, I can join right in! As I eagerly await finding my forever home, I'm hopeful that someone with a kind and patient heart will see past my initial timidity and recognize the loving soul that lies within. I know I am going to make someone very happy and I can’t wait for that in return! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org).
