Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young husky/shepherd mix that was surrendered to the shelter with my sister Trixie because we weren't getting along with the cat in the home. That being said, I've found myself homeless and in search of my new forever home! I have lived with kids in the past, and I am very friendly with them, but I am a jumpy and mouthy boy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with kids that are used to being around dogs like that. My sister and I are a bonded pair, and we love each other so, so much and would love to go to place that is willing to have twice the fun and take us both home! We are such great friends! We have a tendency to team up on other dogs, so we would need to go into a home that doesn't have other dogs in it already. I have a good amount of energy, love to go for walks and play in the yard with my sister, and also enjoy getting pets and attention from time to time as well! Staff and volunteers give me as much love as they can here, but I would really love to have a home of my own again where I can run and play to my heart's content! Could that be with you? Hello! I'm Kiko! My sister Zumi and I were surrendered to the shelter because our owners didn't have time for us anymore. We may be homeless now, but at least we have each other here to get through it. We are a bonded pair because of our attachment and reliance on each other. When we first came here, we were terrified, and we clung to each other for security. We still do to some degree, but we are gaining more confidence every day! I am a little more slow to warm up to people than my sister, but if you go slowly with me, I will be sitting on your lap and asking for attention in no time! We both have our fair share of energy to burn, so walks, playtime, and mental stimulation are all right up our alley! We are friendly with most people after a little exposure, but tiny kids that are grabby and can't respect space would probably not be the best fit for us. We are also overall pretty dog friendly as well! Does this dynamic duo sound like a good fit for your home and family? Come meet us at the shelter! Hi friends! Trixie here! What's a gorgeous girl like me still doing here in the shelter? Good question! Answer - I have no clue! I surrendered to the shelter with my brother Taz because we didn't get along with the kitty that was in our home with us. I am such a sweet girl, would do well with kids that can respect my space when I get overwhelmed, and am pretty mellow considering I am a mix of two high-energy breeds! Taz and I are a bonded pair because we love each other so, so much and are pretty well-behaved when we are together! We love running in the yard together and play-wrestling every chance we get! We would love to find a home that is willing to have twice the fun and adopt us both! We know it would be asking a lot, but we would repay you with all the love and fun you can get!
