Meet Rocco! 🐾 Rocco is a 3-year-old, 15-pound Puggle with a heart as big as his playful energy. While he may seem a little cautious at first, once he feels comfortable, he reveals his happy-go-lucky personality. Think of him as a tough guy on the outside but a total teddy bear on the inside! Rocco has been thriving in his foster home, where he’s been learning important “petiquette” and working on commands like sit, stay, come, and loose-leash walking. He’s also crate-trained and enjoys having a cozy spot to call his own. Sometimes his excitement and impulses get the best of him, but he’s making great progress with positive reinforcement training and would benefit from continuing this in his forever home. Rocco loves to play and has shown potential to excel in small dog agility with the right training. Whether it’s entertaining you with his antics or curling up on the couch for a snuggle, he’s happy to do it all. He does well with other dogs he's been properly introduced to and would love a buddy who matches his rough-and-tumble energy while also setting a good example for him. However, he can also thrive as an only dog if he has plenty of engagement and companionship. Given his size, age, and personality, Rocco would do best in a home with mature or older children. He enjoys taking his time to approach new situations and thrives with a routine that helps him feel secure. Rocco’s past is a bit of a mystery, as he was found wandering the streets, but he’s ready to leave that chapter behind and start his new adventure with a loving family. Ready to meet Rocco? WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for TINY SAVANNAH BABY!!! This baby girl is so sweet and TINY! Savannah is believed to be a Chug (part Chi, part Pug), and will likely stay under 10 pounds! Such a sweet playful kid! She was passed around as a baby until thankfully she made her way to us! THE FIRST STEP is completing an APPLICATION ONLINE https://saferescueteam.org/adoption-application/ We cover vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and pre pay microchip for lifetime registration. Please read all info and note we do REQUIRE a... *Physical home-check *Proof of homeownership or *Proof from landlord it is ok to have pets on all adoptions *We verify references *We do NOT ship our dogs under ANY circumstances *Refundable puppy deposit may be required. PUPPY PROCESS: Once an application is approved we will set up meet/greet. Puppy will be placed in a "Foster with Intent to Adopt home". The foster will be required to keep puppy within the blueprint of their home until all vaccines are complete, bring puppy to vaccination appointments, once all vaccinations are complete a spay/neuter appointment will be set up for puppy to be sterilized, and microchipped. Once this final step has been completed, the adoption paperwork will be completed.
