Story
Charlie is 7-8. He is some type of beagle-hound dog mixed breed. He was adopted as a rescue at age 4 and we do not know his background. He is very shy at first and an anxious dog. He understands most basic commands - sit, stay, lie down, walk. He is low energy, but loves going for walks but does not respond well to toys (he has always ignored them even during play training). He has always had a shy and anxious temperament. But would benefit from an owner who has experience owning pets with anxiety.

Introducing Otto! This five-year-old Beagle/German Shephard mix came to the Kentucky Humane Society when his owner could no longer care for him. Otto is a whole lot of love and is on the lookout for an accountability buddy, as he is currently on a diet. Due to this, he will also be your best walking pal! While Otto does not prefer rooming with any feline companions, he does well with other dogs, and would love to meet any potential canine friends prior to adoption. Otto is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to find his forever home! I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
