Story
Our little man, Noah, is ready for adoption! True to the Puggle breed, Noah is quite the character. He’s around 12 years old and weighs in around 16.5lbs- though he’s on the smaller side, he has a big personality! Noah is a bit dramatic, always letting his caregivers know when he needs something- though it’s usually just that it’s time to cuddle on the couch. Aside from cuddle time, Noah loves strutting his stuff through the neighborhood. Though he is initially cautious of strangers, once he’s picked you as his person he will attach to you like a barnacle! Key points on Noah: 🎉As a senior dog, Noah would do best in a low-key household where he can take precedent. 🎉Noah has some separation anxiety and is ideally looking for a caregiver who is more of a homebody so he doesn’t have to be left alone for too long. 🎉Noah is rather communicative and always ready to speak his mind when something is awry! Due to this, he would not do well in an apartment. 🎉Noah does fine with other dogs or cats but needs them to be more laid-back as he’s not really looking for anyone besides a human to buddy up to. This little man is definitely a charmer who’s hard to resist! If you are interested in adopting Noah: ➡️ Email for an application at canineliberationleague@gmail.com ➡️ Or download or fill our the application on our website at www.canineliberationleague.com/application Once we receive a completed application that is APPROVED, we will do a vet check. If everything goes well, then we will set up meet & greets. Just because you apply for a foster dog, that doesn’t mean you will be called in regards to your application. Noah is neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, & Bordetella. He also had a recent dental and has been fecal & heartworm tested. 📍 LOCATION- South Lyon, Michigan

Story
This gorgeous young gal with movie-star looks is Avalon! At 7 months old and 35 pounds, Avalon is all puppy and is still growing. She’d make a great companion for an avid walker, hiker or runner or an active family. A home with a yard where she can burn off her puppy energy by romping and playing would be ideal. Playtime with other dogs is a serious business for Avalon, so supervision while she’s playing is a good idea. Avalon is a beagle/boxer/terrier mix, and we’re guessing that she’ll weigh in the neighborhood of 40 to 50 pounds once she’s an adult. Because of her size, she’ll need supervision around smaller children but should be fine with older ones. She’s cautious around strangers but will warm up to them if given time to get to know them. Avalon’s foster mom says that she a very smart girl and is picking up obedience basics such as “sit,” “wait,” and “come,” and is working on improving her leash manners. Avalon rides well in the car and goes to doggy daycare two or three days a week, where she really seems to enjoy hanging out and playing with her friends there. Her foster mom says she’s very food motivated and “eats like a vacuum” (show us a beagle who doesn’t!), so if there are other dogs in the house, she should be fed separately from them. When it’s time to go to sleep, Avalon is equally happy to snuggle up in a dog bed or people bed – she just wants to be comfy! She’s housetrained with the use of a doggy door. If you’re looking to liven up your days with a sweet, affectionate, energetic companion, Avalon may be the dog you’ve been looking for! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full-time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.

Story
Toby is a 1 and 1/2 year old ginger beagle. He is very energetic and needs lots of exercise. He would do best as the only dog. He does play with the other dogs in the house but likes to be the alpha male and on occasion has growled at the other foster dog. He likes attention. He loves his toys and treats. This handsome beagle is looking for a home where he can be the center of attention and get plenty of exercise. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
My name is Lady Liberty (aka Lady). I’m almost 3 years old and weigh 24 pounds. My DNA testing shows that I’m a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/beagle mix. What does this mean? It means I’m the cutest dog ever, with the softest, silkiest fur you could ever imagine! Just look at my pictures, and you’ll see what I’m talking about! I need to let you know I had a hard life before I was rescued. My foster mom doesn’t know what I went through prior to getting picked up by animal control and put in a shelter, but she knows it must have been difficult because it has taken me several months to get comfortable with my foster family. I’m very wary around strangers, but I love getting attention from my foster family. I’m scared of children as well and will bark at them, so I will require an adult-only home that is peaceful and calm. I’m much more comfortable with women than with men, so my primary caregiver should be an adult woman, and if possible, I would prefer to live in a female-only home. To help me cope with my issues, my foster mom took me to a veterinary behavior specialist who prescribed a daily medication protocol and gave foster mom a lot of advice about helping me work through my fears and anxiety. The medications and the training tips have helped me a lot, and foster mom will share all of the great advice with my new family so they can continue to work with me. I will also need to continue taking my medications as well. I like most other dogs, and I like to chase, wrestle, and play “bitey-face” with my foster siblings. I’m submissive towards other dogs, so it’s okay by me if other dogs want to be the boss – I’m not going to argue with them! I’d love to have a canine sibling to play with in my new home, but it’s not absolutely necessary – I’d be quite happy to be an only dog and have all of the love and attention to myself! Even though I like playing with other dogs, foster mom thinks that doggie daycare would be a bad idea for me as I might get overwhelmed by all of the noise and activity. My foster home has a fenced-in yard, and I love to go outside and romp with the other dogs. Once I get past my fear, you’ll see that I have a lot of playfulness and puppy behaviors – playing keep-away with my foster mom’s socks is probably my favorite game! I enjoy playing with my toys, too, but I need to have very durable ones because I am quite the chewer! I’m hesitant to get in the car, but once I’m inside I ride very calmly and quietly as long as I can see my human. At night, I sleep either downstairs on the couch or on the dog bed next to foster mom’s bed. Sometimes I take naps in my crate, which has become my safe space. I’m housetrained and will let you know I have to go potty by going to the door. I enjoy sharing my vocal talents by barking at foster mom to tell her when it’s time to feed me (which I think should be really often), time for a treat (also often), time to go out, time to come back inside…you get the picture! I must say hello to anyone who passes by, including the neighbors, the rabbits, and even the neighborhood cats who like to tease me from outside the fence. I make an excellent alarm system! I am adorable and sweet, and even though I’m still very timid, I’ve made tremendous strides since I was rescued. I’m in search of a loving home where I can feel safe and loved and continue to become a more confident dog. If you want to be my fur-ever family, please contact Midwest BREW. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
