Hi, I'm Beauregard! I'm still young and full of energy. I'm an 8 month old Beagle/Coonhound mix (best guess). I love to play and I'm as sweet as can be. I've got a voice and I'm not afraid to use it, especially when I want to show you how much I love you. I might be in a shelter now, but I'm dreaming of a home where I can run, play, and be loved. I promise to bring joy and laughter into your life with my playful antics and sweet nature. Adopting me means gaining a loyal, loving companion who will always be by your side. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to request an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). ** NEEDS ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME FOR A BUDDY ! ** My name is Lucy Lynn (my foster family calls me Lucy), a 3 yr old, 30 lb, Beagle Mix.   My foster house has 3 kids, a dog, and a cat, and I love them all.   I am house trained and crate trained and am a laid-back girl that loves to be with my people. My favorite thing in the world is to go on walks and rides in the car.   I am great on a leash and a great passenger in the car. I would make a great addition to any family.    If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Lucy Lynn’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
