Meet Lafayette, the sweetest 9-year-old beagle mix with plenty of pep in his step! This lovable, gentle boy is fantastic with dogs, adores people, and has been a polite houseguest in his foster home. Lafayette loves playing with balls and has a friendly, easygoing nature that makes him a hit with neighborhood kids. He’s the perfect companion dog, ready to bring joy and affection to your world!To meet our available animals, visit our Northside shelter locations any day between 1-6pm. If their location is listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet.About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE is proud to serve Hamilton County for its humane society needs. We are responsible for the county’s dog warden and animal control services. We strive to keep people and pets together and to help stray animals find their future families.

Meet Copper! Copper is a 3-month-old, 7-pound lab/beagle mix. Copper's absolutely adorable little face with a white dot on his nose is just the beginning of the list of reasons you will fall in love with him. He is full of puppy energy and absolutely loves the humans he's with. Copper loves to be held in your arms and will plant as many kisses on your cheek as you want! He is one of the "Rock"-in twins with his brother Obsidian (Obbie). Copper and Obbie love to rough-house together but, when it's nap time, they snuggle up close in their crate and keep each other company. Copper is inquisitive of other animals, including cats and other dogs, and has shown nothing but his innate sweetness to them. He loves to play with his toys and has been quickly learning to use his puppy pads. If you are looking for a loving little buddy that won't get too big and will get along with other animals, then Copper is the one for you! Copper is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00. Meet Spice! Spice is a 3-month-old, 9-pound lab/beagle mix. He is full of playful puppy energy and loves being around his people. He loves his toys and especially enjoys playing tug-o-war with the family dog. He gets along great with other dogs and lives with four cats but it is recommended that the cat is dog-savvy and not afraid to stand up for themselves since Spice gets excited to see them. While Spice has lots of energy, he also appreciates snuggle time. When he gets worn out from a play session, he loves to cuddle up in your lap and sleep like a baby. Spice is a smart little guy and will need to learn basic dog skills like house training and walking on a leash. He is eager to please.
