Story
Jo is a sweet 4 year old puggle guy and will warm up pretty quickly we call him a quick licker because you never know when a kiss is coming. He loves laying under blankets next to you. He is pretty chill most of the time but gets energy and he is playful. He loves to take stuffing out of toys. He is good with other dogs but does need supervision at first due to humping and sniffing, he is more dominant. I have 4 other dogs at the moment including my own and dog sitting, he got acclimated pretty easily to them. Eats well , he is food motivated. Crate trained as well but haven’t really used it. He hasn’t gotten into anything in the house since we’ve fostered him. Experienced puggle owner preferred. Will help with transport if needed with 2 hours.

Story
Meet Moose! This friendly happy senior does NOT know he’s a senior at all! He LOVES toys, walks, hanging with people and other dogs, and is a fun social butterfly who always looks like he’s smiling. He’s on a diet and should probably be under 20lbs once he slims down a bit. We aren’t sure if his exact mix but we could see some puggle (especially his funny snorting when he’s excited), chihuahua, corgi, Pomeranian, and probably a bunch of small breeds all mixed together. Moose does have a heart murmur, about the only sign of his age, and his echo showed some heart disease. He’s on one medication longterm right now (pimobendan) which will hopefully help him live as long as possible and will need regular vet rechecks. Email njwoof@cs.com to meet Moose in Northern NJ Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
