Story
Meet Brady Pork Chop.    This poor, emaciated boy came to us over from Donna, Texas.    The family who found him live next to a field and he appeared there, likely dumped. It took a few days for them to catch him but once they did, they quickly found him to be very gently and loving.    He is now on a feeding schedule to help gain his weight back, and is being treated for worms and tick disease.    Brady Pork Chop is so loved that he has TWO NAMES of his very own. He was too special and too cute for us to agree on one so we decided he probably deserves both after all he’s been through!    He really loves his humans and can’t wait to be well enough to play with the other dogs in his foster home.    He’s not quite ready to go home yet, but we are accepting applications. Story
Meet Honey Bun! This sweet girl was pregnant in the Ingleside shelter until a Good Samaritan took her in so she wouldn’t have to have her babies on the hard concrete. Her babies have all found homes so now we’re trying to find something for Honey Bun! Honey Bun is an easy going girl who gets along with everyone and everything. While weaning her puppies, she lived in a home with kids and she currently lives with multiple dogs and cats. She loves some cuddle time and is up for car rides, walks, and pup cups! She is housebroken, crate trained, and is working on basic commands. Honey Bun is about 42 pounds and 2 years old. August 18, 2024, 9:46 pm

Story
We think Byron is 11 years old. He belonged to a former Hound Rescue Board member who recently had to go into assisted living. He gets along very well with other dogs, loves people and is super playful for an 11 year old pup. He has the BEST bay and will do well in a home (not an apartment). He was recently diagnosed with Cushings disease which can be managed with medication.
