Meet Sammie Lou! This adorable senior girl was surrendered to us after her owner passed away. She’s a 10 year old beagle/basset hound mix and she weighs about 48 pounds. She’s SUCH a sweetheart and she’s good with all people and other dogs. Sammie Lou is house trained and knows how to use a dog door.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. Meet Tom! He’s a 9 year old little tan beagle mix weighing about 35 pounds. He’s smaller than he looks in pictures! He’s super affectionate and sweet, and he loves kids. He’s fantastic with other dogs and loves to cuddle cats, too. Tom came to us because his owner became sick and unable to care for him. Tom is house trained and has good manners. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Olive - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey world, it's me Olive! A big dog that got stuck in a small dog body!! I'm a youngster yet at around a year old and come in at around 10lbs. Perfection at joining you on walks but not taking up much room while we cuddle!! I'm sweet and affectionate but also active, playful, adventurous and I love joining those big pups for walks especially when we head for the river. I'll jump right in with the best of 'em!! I do great with people and all the other foster pups here, big or small. Although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet. I'm a very happy go lucky, fun lovin little gal that would love a home and family that is ready for all this big personality in this small package! I'm just hoping you're filling out my adoption application...right now!!!!
