If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.  Hi, my name is Marjorie! I am a 1 year old toy poodle. When I came to ARPO, I had an old fracture on my right front leg that had started healing misaligned. Because my legs are already so small the best option, for life without chronic pain, was to amputate. Don't worry, I'm getting around great now without that ouchy leg! I love to play with stuffed toys (even the ones that are the same size as me)! But I also love to snuggle!  I've been living in my foster home with cats, kittens, and a large dog. I get along pretty well with everyone, though I do like to chase the cats to try to get them to play with me! I would love to find a home with someone who is home a lot and maybe with another small dog to play with!  Marjorie is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines.
