Story
Missy is approx 9 years old and about 10lbs. When she initially came to us, she had no socialization and was very nervous. She is such a sweet soul though. Even when she has been the most scared, she has never attempted to bite or even growl at anyone. Although she has gained some confidence with her foster, she will likely always be shy with new people (especially men) and will need some time to adjust in a new home. She is not a lap dog or cuddler but she enjoys company and likes to be near once she gets comfortable. If you leave the room, she will follow and find a spot to hang out with you. Missy enjoys perching on the back of the couch and relaxing most of the day. She doesn't play with toys and is not crazy about food, but she loves a butt scratch and rolling around in the grass. She also likes to burrow in blankets! Missy is really quiet and mellow. However, pull out her leash and she will run up to you, wagging her tail! She loves to go for walks and car rides! She gets along with dogs and cats but likes her space from them as well. She would be fine with mellow animals or being the only pet in her next home. Since she is shy, a home with small children would be best. Missy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is also housebroken and crate trained. She recently had vet checkup and dental so she is good to go!
